Great staff, smiling, great location with a restaurant and bar adjacent. Will be back there.

The hotel was great! Very clean and in a wonderful location. Everyone was extremely helpful and every time I needed something the hotel staff promptly and politely solved it.
4.3
Friendly staff, great location, spacious rooms
Paid for breakfast to be included and none was offered. Don't pay for the extra you won't receive.
4.3
great location, food and near shops and theater.

The property was located in the heart of downtown Davis, with lots of cute stores and restaurants. Very walkable and variety of dining options.

Location is amazing and great for going out later. When I checked in there were two reservations under my name which there shouldn’t have been. The front desk was quick to fix the situation. A non-guest attempted to park in their garage and they fixed that situation as well. All around pretty good property.
The internet was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I was not able to get on and night crew was unable to assist. I tried using their mini business lab for their internet and that was having issues as well.

Not a $200/ night establishment
I feel insulted with the lipstick that has been applied to this facility. Always start with the positive, the shower / jacuzzi tub with endless hot water was amazing as well as the central lobby with seating, lighting & decor that gave it a modern stylish feel. The room was similar in decor however the cutting of corners was overwhelming. The constant hum of some sort of ventilation fan vibration filled the room but was not part of our room. It was clearly two rooms that now are merged into a one bedroom suite. The thermostat in the living room controlled the heat / ac unit in the bedroom. To get that warm or cold air to the living room they installed a duct connecting the rooms with a fan on it that was separate from the heat / ac system. Just install two units. The couch was upgraded with adding some cushions over the old cushions & the bed didn’t hold back on the springs or number of sheets (3 top sheets & a thin duvet). Mine & my partner’s back were the first thing we felt upon waking up. It was a soreness that we didn’t arrive with. This room had nothing that was soft, cozy or comforting that you’d expect for $225 / night. The blogger in the link provided speaks of plush amenities & an oversized balcony. Ha! The balcony is the same length as the sliding glass door & stationary glass by 2.5 feet wide. It included a puddle of water covering about 80% of it. On our travels through the lobby to the car I could not help but notice the other room’s windows. It was the glass you’d see on the walls of the principal’s office or the manager’s office at the DMV. Ya know the glass with the one inch by one inch wire squares infused in the pane, accented with some two inch mini blinds for privacy. Very Office Depot feel to them. Don’t get the wrong impression, I’m not trying to hate this place or be rude, I’m just being honest.
I wrote it all in one paragraph
look up this review by this hotel blogger. it’s very short & very false — https://www.visitdavis.org/blog/guest-blogger-bri-maloney-palm-court-hotel

Close to everything, esp the college and farmer’s market. Plenty of space in the room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Price is a bit high for the overall quality of hotel.
4.3
good central location
insufficient parking in their garage. street parking is limited. “suite” design is impractical- you have to walk through the bedroom to get to the living area.

Everything.
No Microwave.

Very noisy at night. The hotel seems to have very noisy HVAC systems on the roof that made the whole room vibrate in the middle of the night.
We bought a "Breakfast included" rate that turned out to be a 10 dollar per day per person gift card for the next door café. A joke. Almost every item on the menue was more than 10 dollars.

Excellent location in Davis, in the center close to all restaurants, good positioning for UC Davis, even if not right next to it. You can hear the train sometimes during nighttime but it is not a big disturbance. 10 mins walk to the Arboretum which is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
Cafe Bernardo downstairs is very popular and has a very diverse offer both for breakfast and lunch. The food is excellent. Wiki bar is pleasant.
We stayed for ten days and they only came to clean our room once and that was because we asked them to. No change of towels, no dusting, nothing. I can understand that they do not clean every day but it is not acceptable. They did leave an envelope for tipping though...

Great location in downtown Davis along with free parking make this a convenient and relaxing spot to stay. Staff were exceptionally helpful, especially the front desk staff (Antonette?). Room was very comfortable.
Inebriated guest in the lobby was a bit obnoxious, but can’t blame the hotel for her boorish behavior I guess.
4.3
Very spacious room, nicely decorated
The aircondition was right next to the bed. Whenever it came on, there was a tornado of cold air blowing on the bed. Also, there was a constant humming noise coming from a vent on the other side of the bed.
4.3
The shower backed up slightly while showering.
4.3
Good location for proximity to services.
Pool would have been nice as high temp the day of my stay was 101 F.
4.3
The best part was the location in Davis, I will say it was easy to walk to different eating places and cool locations around town.

Some of the things were run down had to switch rooms due to smoke alarm beeping Air conditioning wasnt working properly

This is a trim little hotel in downtown Davis with a parking lot. It was safe and clean and had access to a a coffee shop and a bar. Roomy living space with desk and lots of plugs.
It’s not the Ritz, but you know that going in. Small bathroom, no daily housekeeping, slow elevator.

convenient, comfortable. there was confusion with our rooms but the manager fixed it and we were very grateful. the rooms were VERY expensive due to graduation.
I wish the room would have been cleaned while we were away for graduation. it was very hot and we just needed a fresh room to come back to. but it was better to have a messy room than no room!
