my stay was great, I loved my room. Everything was clean and well organized. i had a great time at the hotel.

The close proximity with all the Iowa city attractions. My room had all the the kitchen utensils I could think of which was lovely. The gym was also one of my favorite parts.

There was nothing really, I would like hand soap in the bathroom next time and maybe a rug for when people get out of the shower.

They wouldn’t allow me to change reservation dates through Booking. I called instead. Through that process we somehow got downgraded (to the only available room type), but the hotel refused to acknowledge their mistake and refused to refund the difference. Half the channels on the TV didn’t work and a window was off it’s track meaning it couldn’t be propped open, but also couldn’t close, which isn’t good seeing as how there is a very busy/loud street underneath the window.

While the location was great, it wasn’t worth $300 a night for all the other shortcomings!

Only had one bath towel… heard house cleaning in the morning and they were nice about getting me more. Only had three tv stations. checked in late the first night but probably should not have excepted that this was normal. The second night I asked about it and they tried to fix it but it didn’t work. Ice machine broken on our floor Had to wait 20 minutes to check in as the one front desk attendant was off dealing with an issue.

The room was dirty. Hair scattered in places. Rug not vacuumed. Fan and air conditioner extremely loud….couldn’t sleep all night. No shower door, it was broken. Kitchenette was dirty. Overall it was disgusting.

Great location! Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Nobody told us until our last day there that they had a parking pass for us, so we had been paying $15 per day. The price I was charged was different than the price I had been quoted on booking.com

Disappointed in Iowa City

I liked the modern and clean feel of the room. The room darkening shades are great. Appreciated the individual temperature control so that I could keep the fan going to help with the white noise.I liked the location of this hotel since it was very convenient to the pedestrian mall, and various restaurants.

The room did not appear clean with lent end dust on the floors and bathroom mirror was very streaky. I paid extra to have a balcony and while the size was good, it had two very lonely chairs sitting out there. I requested two extra chairs and maybe a small table to be put out there since we were traveling with guests. But that hotel was not able to accommodate. Very strange. Also, whenever we tried to call the front desk for assistance with the sporadic Wi-Fi, they never answered the phone. We had to make repeated trips down to the front desk to try to get help with various issues.

Awesome stay downtown IOWA CITY! fun and aesthetically pleasing

Chic with art in the hallways, cool designer furniture, next to a great market, very good in house asain restaurant, loved our big room with a glass wall and oval tub! Nothing could have been better.

Your bed moves easily? Like we would sit on it and it would shift of the box bed it was sitting on.

The bathtub was huge.

You have to pay for parking. There was no breakfast. The bed moved when you sat on it. The sheets felt stale on your skin. The bathroom door is see through.

Staff at front desk were amazing.

Staff at desk were amazing. The room was spacious, amazing showrr and tub. The bed was very comfortable. The patio was nice.

Our room was suppose to be cleaned every 4 days and on the 7th day they cleaned however they did a poor job. The heater was very noisey, the fridge did not work. Parking was expensive and all of the e tra taxes added on msde the room over 200 dollars a night.

they had no room for us. they had just given away our room to someone who found hers unclean. it was almost midnight so we had no choice but stay and take the room she had just vacated. we insisted on the receptionists changing our sheets. But honestly the pillows still looked already slept in. the room had not been vacuumed. see pics. The toilet flush would only work only once in about 30 minutes. the breakfast table wobbled. the shades were ripped off the roll. the window couldn’t be closed so the cold air was seeping in all night.
