Not bad for a short stay

The location was convenient and the price was very good. There were plenty of choices nearby for eating if you have your car. The room was clean and offered everything we needed for a short stay. We appreciated the abundance and variety of bed pillows!

This is an old-style motel where all rooms open to the outside. It was old-fashioned, too, in that we were given actual keys rather than key cards. The continental breakfast was limited to coffee, cereal, toast or cellophane wrapped pastries, but it was adequate. The facilities are old but the owner has tried to keep them clean and freshly painted.

Good place for a 1 night stay on the way to somewhere else

Abilene has plenty of dining options and is a small town. So, this place isn't far from what you need. It's a good place for a 1 night stay on the way to another place, which is exactly what we used it for. There were no issues and it was quiet/peaceful. Feels safe.

Disappointing

Extremely dated, the tub had cigarette burns on the the side. Sink was being supported by 2x4 blocks as was the air conditioning unit.

Quick stopover

Good value for money. Good beds in room 120. Very friendly staff in the reception. Didn’t have time to try the breakfast but the coffee(to go) was good.

A little bit noisy due to its location beside the highway. The owner can’t change that.

They did not have my reservation even with showing confirmation #. Plus the bedding had cigarette burns in them even though it was a non smoking room.

Don't stay here

The check in person threw my debit card on the desk at me and was rude. Bed is hard and lumpy. I could hear upstairs people pacing the floor all night. Door lock was loose and only felt secure when the deadbolt was engaged. Not recommended at all.
