I liked its location and the comfort of the rooms.
Nothing, really, though the breakfast didn't seem like a great production.

It was a very quiet place to stay. Mr. Orzel was AMAZING at the front desk for checking in and telling us about any local places to eat since we arrived late in the evening
The only thing that I could complain about was that our fridge didn't work. Figured that out when I took my bottle water out and it was still warm. After moving the cord the fridge kicked on

It’s hard to say what I did like. The lobby and hallways smelled sour and needed a good vacuuming. The side door was broken and did not lock, the entry was littered with trash and cigarette butt. The room, wow. The curtains were broken, sheets were torn, TV and lamp didn’t work. The towels were thin, torn and fraying. The bed was lumpy and as soon as I laid down I knew I would need to pop some Motrin in the morning. If not for the relatively nice front desk man, and the low pet fees, and the fact I was exhausted I would never stay here, nor would I send my enemies here. Hard pass. Side note: listing says Pool is out of order since 2016 - I thought it was a typo. When looking at it, it’s definitely not. No pride of ownership by anyone in this business.
I didn’t like any of it. From the curb appeal, to the smell, to the quality and condition of the entry, carpet, linens, tv and lamp not working…i didn’t like anything

Breakfast

if you call breakfast: 2 cereal choices, couldn't find the milk, 2 juice choices and a couple of cookie choices, nothing hot, no fruit not even bananas, "free breakfast" on the reservation site appropriate, not so much. the bed itself was reasonably comfortable but the pillows were way beyond hard.
see above. also, looking out the window, overlooking junk and discarded stuff was a little distasteful, even for an economy facility. in the shower, took way to long to get hot water. the toilet must have been really old because i felt like i was sitting on the floor, needed to be upgraded to newer ergonomic and taller for those with difficulty standing up after finished with appropriate functions.

We were pleasantly surprised by the new carpet, improved cleanliness, and even upgrades in the simple breakfast area. Staff was very helpful. The hotel will not win any style points, but is a great basic hotel to stay at for a night or two.
Outside area is not as clean as we'd like, but that is not totally unexpected being right next to a truck stop. The hotel appears to be heavily used by work crews for their overnight stays.

Well kept and easy to find. As it was right by the road there was some noise but not enough to truly darken the experience
The hotel door knob was broken on first use and there could have been a little bit more of a breakfast to offer

Continental Breakfast was not at all very good. But what could I expect from a "continental".
Perhaps a better tasting bakery product.

Showing signs of being run down. Sheets need replaced, pillows are small, need to paint, etc. The shower head was covered in mineral deposits. It was muggy like the air conditioners may not be working quite right. Several light bulbs in the room needed replaced.

Availability and location were good
The room smelled because of some kind of cleaner and the reason I went there was to let my cat be able to get out of their vehicle and go to the bathroom and eat and sleep. Something in the room was off and she would not come out of her carrier.
It smells like there was some kind of cleaner there that they used to clean up a mess that was very toxic
