Restaurant next to hotel was ok. Very close there was much better breakfast place.
The coffee and powdered creamer were not great.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the shower very nice. I liked the eclectic, semi-industrial vibe of the decorations. The hotel is located right downtown in Corvallis, close to shops and restaurants.
The room was on the second level and there was no elevator--and my knees were hurting after a long day's travel. Unfortunately, there were no ground level rooms available. The heater worked hard and, as heaters do, came on multiple times in the night, waking me. The reading lights over the bed were both highly decorative, but did not yield enough light to actually read a book.

The beds were very comfortable!
On fourth street which is a busier road in Corvallis.

Bed and pillows were the best I’ve slept on in over 10 years! Nice update to what was probably a pretty old motel.
Heat/AC unit never worked very well. The noise from the parking lot and the maids cart felt like they were only a few feet away from our room.

The location is great in downtown Corvallis and, what I’ve never complemented any place before about, was the mattress. Extremely comfortable mattress.
Hands down, the lack of a dresser was our biggest gripe. If we were only staying one night maybe it wouldn’t matter, but for 3 nights, it was an inconvenience.

Great location for access to OSU and downtown. Owners have tried hard to fix up the hotel and often it is the best deal in Corvallis.
Despite all their efforts to spruce up this hotel, its "fleabag" former self is still evident. Trash on the floor from previous guest was also disappointing.

Pets could stay there
very basic accommodations; staff adequate but not exceptional; excessive fees and deposits

The hotel had a capable front desk clerk and their current (August, 2023) bragging points - renovated showers and new bedding - are true. The location is right on the edge of the downtown Corvallis area, walkable to coffee, the cute restaurants, the river and the farmers market, a little farther from the university. The family restaurant next door is not trying to rebrand itself as something it's not so go ahead and enjoy that $5 coupon the hotel provides.
Hotel Corvallis is the old University Inn with a largely superficial renovation, trying to brand itself as a chic boutique place with a retro vibe and "modern amenities." In fact while they probably did significantly upgrade the bathrooms, the rest is basically lipstick on a no-tell motel. This was annoying because I booked based on the hype, I was travelling with my spouse and my mom and wanted to treat her to something interesting. Instead we both got flashbacks to that few months in the 90s when our family lived in the cheapest hotel in town.
The door locks and air conditioners belong in the 90s. They use physical locks which you have to sign for and physically turn in lest they charge you $100 to replace the janky, loose knobs. The keys don't work in the deadbolts so those only function when someone is in the room. The AC is straight out of any Motel 6. Street noise and other guest noise were issues. The trendy black flooring may or may not be clean, we were 1 for 2 on that. The modern amenities are a tv, fridge and mini microwave. They get those spacious-looking room pictures by removing any kind of table, drawer or closet. The stylish barn door for the bathroom looked better than it was but if you are sharing your room with kids the prank opportunities are endless. We thought the retro phone in mom's room was a prop but the one in our room was functional so who the heck knows that they're going for there.
This is not a boutique hotel, this is a budget motel with an aggressive but superficial makeover. And judging from the "special offers" ($20-30 for a hour's late checkout?!! ) There seems to be a serious disconnect between what management thinks its selling and what the staff is actually empowered to deliver.

The room seemed spacious and it had all the basics. There were plenty of towels. The room was clean. Extremely walkable. Having Tommy's Bar & Grill next door is a BIG plus! There were two outside sitting areas that were nice and thoughtful. The lobby had an array of free snack items.
There was NO bedside lighting. None! Only the overhead in the entire room.
There was only ONE chair. The toilet seat was elongated on a round bowl, it looked humorous.
There was no coffee in the lobby.

The decor is sharp - I really like the bathroom. Location is also perfect. Right in the heart of downtown and the shops and restaurants.
Honestly, nothing. You guys are crushing it.

Clean, had good soaps and amenities. Staff was friendly
No bathtub and it was hard to tell how to sleep on the couch

The facilities appeared to be recently renovated. The room looked to be clean.
However, we did find hair in both beds when we arrived that were not ours. Maybe the cleaning crew missed it when cleaning the room or maybe the sheets were not new… it’s hard to know.
There was no clock or phone in the room.
WiFi password provided did not work.

Very clean. And the staff was really helpful and nice.
It was a little loud at night….other guests. But that’s not the properties fault.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for OSU visit. The room was clean and designed in a contemporary/urban style. They provide a coupon for a breakfast place nearby and also for a cafe. We only ended up using the coffee ones so can't speak to the breakfast.
We understand that each room is different; we just weren't big fans of not having a closet or a dresser in our particular room. There was a place to hang things, but they were hanging over one end of the couch/extra bed.

Nice central location, friendly staff, rooms are old but “ modernized “ clean .
Pillows are horrible, shower stall has a nasty lip, toilet had wrong seat that doesn’t match toilet bowl ??,

Super cute remodel. The kitchen is perfect for the weekend. Bed is comfortable. location is perfect!
couch was a little firm and the phone wasn’t connected to anything even though the sign in the office said to use the phone for room service

Location to job site
Pretty much everything. It's like they tried to put lipstick on a really bad motel 6. Overpriced, unclean cheap cheap cheap. They wanted to charge me $127 and would not discount for construction workers. Ok, I booked thru third party for $83. They act like they don't want paying customers to stay here. Will NEVER stay again

The room is cozy and have everything I need. Very clean and the bed is comfortable. I ask a room on the first floor because I can not walk upstairs and they helped me to get one so it’s nice. The hotel offers good variety of complimentary snacks in their office which is a great bonus!
I like the breakfast provided by the restaurant, good variety of choices and good taste. The waitress was friendly.
