This is an old hotel. You can tell the rooms and property have been around a while. The room was not dirty and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The wifi had good signal and speeds were nice and fast. Don’t expect fancy but for the price it is a good value. There was plenty of water pressure and the shower was nice and hot.
During our stay the pool and breakfast were not available but based on other reviews I had called ahead to check on this so it was not a surprise. During the summer there are more options with pools but indoor pools for the winter are lacking in baker city and the price difference was more than we wanted to spend for this trip.

The rooms are more settle and homey than newer and modern. The manager is so sweet and helped up with everything we needed. the stuff we’re very persistent and professional when multitasking cleaning the rooms and doing front desk. definitely a nice little home town vibe.

The location is great.
There was no breakfast room open yet only bagged items the pool was closed still. I was disappointed that during the state basketball tournament they almost doubled the price on the room. I understand that many nights they probably don’t make expenses but I think the increase was way to much.

The room was okay
The staff was rude. The office was closed we didn't have enough towels shampoo etc...

Close to freeway exit, lady at check in was very pleasant, bed was comfortable and clean, shower had good pressure. Quiet despite being close to hwy
Rooms are older and in need of upgrades which appear to be happening

location and initial value
No bathroom available in the lobby. Very annoying after a long drive.

pretty much everything. Location is perfect close to freeway, stores and restaurants. Staff is very friendly.

breakfast still not available

Sally at the front desk is an absolute gem! My boyfriend and I stay here every week for work and love it. I also adore the vintage charm and clean comfort of this great hotel.
3.4
Friendly staff
Rooms could be updated, no laundry bag, towels are small
3.4
The room smelled like urine because the sides of the toilet had it pooled on each side at the base. Two towels were dirty and folded to appear clean. It’s clear the towels don’t get changed with each guest, if they had, our towels would have been clean.

The front desk lady was amazing! Super welcoming and nice.
3.4
Even though the beds were not queens they were comfortable
The sink was leaking, the floors were dirty, wall paper coming off the walls, we were supposed to have queen beds and they were full

Great place to stay if you want cheap and basic. Great location.

friendly staff, has oversized parking, they don’t have breakfast but do give you a little baggie with some fruit, juice and a granola bar, the gas station next door has a diner that’s cheap and not half bad. cool old building
nothing really.

Not much
It definitely needed updated. Bath mat wa black and ugly. Faucet leaked bad when turned on. It was just bad. Web site showed pictures of hot breakfast, but only had sack breakfast 6 to 10. Went to get breakfast before leaving at 8:00. Went to office and it was locked with sign saying open at 9:00.

Location and price
Small beds, did not know pool was out of order till arrival

There was no breakfast
Rooms are dirty and need to be totally redone.

Kind, accommodating & friendly staff
I am a partially disabled senior & cannot walk up stairs. I booked online and specified non-smoking & ground floor room but when I got there, there was not a ground floor for me. However, the staff was very kind and accommodated my needs and got me in to a ground floor room.

Style of building
Being lied to by the “General Manager “. “We are short staffed and have no rooms available “ when I requested a room change due to spending a night with the a/c making very loud racket. With plugs in. After being told there were no rooms I mentioned the lady at the desk earlier said she had one. We then got a room change. Also the grounds were not upkept, weeds, poo poop of dogs outline the property.

it was quiet. very handy to the road.
the bathroom fan made a horrible noise and the bathroom was very worn. clean but in need of some remodeling

Holes in the walls, dirty room (refrigerator was very dirty along with floor, carpet and walls) and very dirty sheets and stained towels. Wifi was very slow. I guess for this one their saying is " you get what you pay for". I've paid $63 before and had a wonderful room. This was a joke. Won't be back!
Nothing about this place.

Staff was very friendly and price was great. They're animal friendly which was very important to me.
Faint odd smell.

They allowed us to stay an extra night
They denied BOTH of our credit cards, creating us undo stress and we had to call our CC company. It ended up being their error. We left our pillow there and when we went back to pick it up, the colored case was off of it and they couldn't find it. Said it must be in laundry and were supposed to mail it but never did.
