Don’t stay here.

Bed was reasonably comfortable.

Loud party right in the hallway that went on until 2 am. No staff to answer at the front desk to let them know. Blankets had holes and the walls were banged up. Bathroom was dingy and needed an update. The room cost about $30 more than normal, which is not okay during a hurricane evacuation. Keep the prices the same and don’t gouge people who are evacuating. Especially because the amenities can’t even be used during the hurricane.

Ok for a stop over.

It was ok for a stop over, as we were going to the Keys. Beds were comfortable.. Everything was clean and tidy.

Breakfast ok, but very little choice for gluten free foods. Checking in was terrible. It was after midnight due to flight delay. Receptionist couldn't process the cards. Wasn't very helpful.

We arrived at the lobby at 930am for breakfast. Everything was being cleaned up and no food was available to be eaten. It was our family and another that arrived, to which none of us had food and the staff who was working the breakfast area was very rude and stated there was no more food available

the general manager Gretchen was extremely rude to guest and the staff. She told me after a week guest aren’t allowed to book anymore that was the company policy which makes no sense at all. I will never stay there again.

Great less a rude interaction that could have been completely avoided or handled differently.

Comfy beds, centralized location to the military base I was working on.

My interaction with all the employees were great, less the blonde female manager, (figured she was management as she was interviewing people at one point), who was pretty rude when I had asked if I could spend some time working off my laptop in the breakfast area (which wasn't occupied) or the front seating area (which no one was at), as my flight leaving Tampa was delayed. She barked how long do I need. I mentioned maybe an hour and I'll take off as it was an obvious bother that I occupied one seat in an empty seating area after being a paying customer there for a few days. She agreed to the hour and then walked away mumbling 45 minutes then a half hour. This bizarre and unnecessary interaction could have been handled a better way as I was in front of other alarmed customers who were checking in giving me the, "eyes wide open, is she serious look". Even more rude was before I had left I had inquired about a charge on my card to another employee where she came butting in with a rude demeanor and interjections about what I was charged for and then recanted it when I showed her the charges telling me the charge should fall off eventually. I hope her soft skills improve as being in a position of leadership at my job knowing my behavior sets the expectation and tone for my subordinates.

Disappointing

Proximity to PIE airport

Maybe i wasnt in a very congenital mood since we'd just had a death in our family.....but....Didn't appreciate the $100 deposit at time of check in. Pool was not available. Was told by front desk staff that because we booked on booking.com our room was not equipped with a refrigerator or microwave. We had an early morning flight, and knew we would miss the hotels breakfast, so we had purchased some items to refrigerate and heat in the microwave. The front desk gentleman seemed uncaring but told us we could put it in office refrig. How about just moving us to another room???? They definitely were not sold out! Not impressed at all! Then in the middle of the night our toliet decided to clog up....not a good experience for what we paid for the room. Definitely overpriced for the service and quality we got. Never will stay again!
