Loved the attention to detail and keeping the character of the original Inn.
Missed having a mini fridge in the room.

Like stepping back into the 1940s. Charming old inn.
I had to kneel to shave as the mirror was so low due to the low ceiling in the bathroom.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming! The restaurant had a live music show and the food was amazing! A good collection of local beers.

Having the attached tavern for dinner is an amazing amenity, and the food was spectacular. I also really loved the stove in the room - it helped keep us toasty during the very cold temps overnight, and it was a great place to warm our ski boots ahead of the ski day.
The only thing I wish we had was a mini fridge in the room to store our leftovers from the tavern. We ordered some of the "Irish nachos" to-go to enjoy as a late night snack, but realized that there wasn't a fridge in the room to store them. Luckily it was a cold night, so the window sill worked enough as a fridge to keep our leftovers fresh.

the backyard was beautiful and would be great for when they have events. Overall it was really nice for the price.
No complaints!

We loved this place! The rooms are so cozy and charming. The whole inn was very quiet, which was nice, and staff was very thoughtful, giving us extras of everything for our extended stay. The garden outside was GORGEOUS, and while we didn't get a chance to eat there, the menu looked fabulous, and the atmosphere was perfect. Would DEFINITELY stay again.
Staff was hard to find, although I knew I could reach them with a quick call. There were no refrigerators in the rooms, but when I called staff to ask if there was a place I could put a refrigerated item, they welcomed me to put it in the tavern's kitchen fridge.

The live music and the location.
The room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator.
The window air condition was not in the bedroom, the bedroom was a little hot since the air didn’t get in.

Love the location and quaintness of the Inn. Staff is exceptional! Very friendly, extremely helpful - always make sure that as a guest, you have a reservation for their music and dinner offerings. The staff certainly make this place as they go above and beyond. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
Just a thought...it would be nice if each room reservation had a designated, marked, or signed parking spot out back. It is difficult to return for the night and find no space out front or in the parking lot. Since there are only a few rooms, it would still leave space for others, but ensure guests always had a parking space. Please?

Liked it being roomy.
Room was cold only heat was from a small gas type fire place. Rooms windows rattled all night. Bathroom was tiny. We liked the place but we ended up sleeping with hoodies over our pajamas . Very few plug ins.

Location. Downstairs pub (when it’s actually open).
No staff during sun/mon - felt like a ghost town.

extremely charming and a great location! the tavern downstairs has great food and live entertainment. it’s old, so if you’re looking for fancy amenities you’re out of luck, but you can’t beat the price.
it’s old…if you’re looking to get a very hot shower you may have to lower your expectations to lukewarm. due to lack of staffing they’ve had to get rid of their AM drip coffee station and replace it with a Keurig.

What a fantastic place! First, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful for anything you need. Loved coming down in the morning to be greeted by a cup of my favorite tea. The location is superb, especially for outdoor activities. You can walk to Jackson cross-country skiing outfitters, which is the best place in NH for that activity -- miles of trails for all levels. But also close to downhill skiing, hiking, shopping and eating in North Conway, and more. Another highlight was the tavern, which has live music most nights. It can get crowded with locals and out-of-towners, but if you're a guest, they'll make sure you have a spot. Good food too. Room was also excellent.
All was great. They do not offer breakfast, which would have made it even better.

TV could only be watched from the chair in the room

It was comfortable, had character and was well located for our plans but the bathroom pedestal style sink made it tricky to find places for our necessities. The morning we were checking out, we met Jack who was very friendly and provided the friendly caring experience we’d hoped to have in a NH Inn.
On arrival, we asked about dinner and were told the large dining room was completely booked for the evening with reservations and were given recommendations for nearby restaurants. It was closed on Sunday and Monday. As their expected guests, it would have been nice to know that they ran dining on reservations and had the opportunity to book ahead. Also when I called about a missing blow dryer and left a voice mail, I didn’t get a return call. Late that evening, I did find an employee who found one for our room.

The room was great, very spacious and much bigger than we expected. We had a nice dinner outside on open mic night and my wife "stole" my chicken pot pie. It was her first, and she thought it was fabulous. Very nice people working here.
Everything was great.

It is dog friendly and they allowed the opportunity to bring both my dogs which was great. The check in was smooth, everyone was friendly and made sure we had the opportunity to fit us in for dinner. The coffee was freshly ground in the morning and the bed was very comfortable. Location is great too

Staff, furnishings, room, dinning and Tavern rooms. garden entertainment area and entertainment.
Not a good choice for anyone with disabilities. rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor were walk up - no elevators.
Knew this when we booked it. So not a negative for us.
