So wonderful. Quiet and cozy.

The breakfast and staff are out of this world. The river is soothing and simply amazing. The pool temp was perfect.
The wall paper on the walls was lifting, there was a large section of paint lifted on the bathroom ceiling right above the tub, there was stuff in the crevice of the sink.

I love that it’s personally owned and they make you feel welcomed

the property was so pretty, right on the river.
a bit misleading from the outside, looked a bit rundown, but charming inside.

The location was better then I had expected. The owners and the staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered and bent over backwards to please you. The included breakfasts were first class. Overall a memorable experience which we plan on doing again.
No negative experiences at all!

The breakfast was very good, we always had two choices. And there was fruit and granola and yogurt as well. The location was near the river and you can sit there and walk around. It was also very central to many hikes and waterfalls etc.
Everything was wonderful, the staff the owners the view the room the pool. The only thing that I would mention is the bed was uncomfortable for us. But we are told that they are in the process of getting new mattresses.

The staff went above and beyond to help us and create a warm and caring home away from home. I love this Inn and the location, adjacent to trails and town, is outstanding.
I hope the Inn owners continue to invest in upkeep to this lovely old Inn. There was nothing we did not like.

What an amazing place to stay. The owners, John and Mary, went out of their way to make you feel at home. We loved the place. It had an olde world feel to it, in all the positive ways. Lots of common areas to sit and read a book, play a board game, play snooker or just to sit and chat with other guests. Very friendly and so glad we had the opportunity to stay here.
There really was nothing not to like about this inn.

The staff was so attentive to everything. This is the best vacation we had have had in 49 years . They even have a fireplace that we thoroughly enjoyed and the gourmet breakfast was incredible, my wife is celiac and they catered to her. There was nothing we could want for. This is definitely the next vacation we will take.
There was nothing to not like.

The facility is very quaint and located on a main highway convenient to the towns of Jackson and Conway and of course with great views. The food is very fresh after a long hike, the staff are super helpful, and the pool and sauna are refreshing. The rooms are quiet. I would stay again.
There was nothing I could think of that I didn't like. Just be mindful that the staircase is rough for luggage and don't be afraid to ask for help with it. The staff refresh towels and water.

Inn at Ellis River is so charming and comfortable and delightful. Perfect stay for my friend and me. We had our picnic dinner in the Adirondack chairs next to River. Swan in delightful pool. Had a sauna. Enjoyed talking and reading in our perfectly appointed and lovely room. Slept deeply with fresh mountain air coming in the window. Haven’t had breakfast yet but know it will be epic! Mary and John such good hosts. Our fellow guests are charming. Do I have to go home?
Absolutely everything perfect.

Everything! Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We went for a relaxing few days & we received it fully. We love the fact that the Inn had no children. Sitting by the river was my favorite.
That we didn’t have much sun… but at least it didn’t rain.
