Amazing set up, loved the lodge and grounds
The girl at the casual restaurant desk and also the one serving at the coffee shop were not very pleasant, did not appear to want to be there. I know it may be just a job but a smile goes a long way

The location was great. The building/lobby was awe-inspiring. The staff was extremely friendly. The location is great.
If you have a bad back, the mattresses are terrible and in need of replacing. The bathroom needed some refurbishing. The fire alarm went off while I was taking a shower (triggered by the steam); so it was embarrassing when maintenance urgently knocked on the door and I was in a towel. I was told that this happens often. Signage to the hotel would have helped since GPS maps didn't work without a signal. In the end, you are paying for the location.

The location is beautiful but the facilities were not to standards of the cost
The rooms weren’t any better than the motel 6. No air conditioning and the bathroom wasn’t big enough to turn around in
4.5
The history of the building
Food was a bit average

We went to experience the vintage/ historic lodge. It was everything you would expect!
The bathroom was vintage too!

very good

The breakfast choices, taste and service was good.
It was expensive and people in group tours were seated first not first come first served.
5.0
the convenience to the train station. rooms were clean and sufficient size for our family.
possibly more food options. the main restaurant in the morning is a little pricey especially for the breakfast buffet. we just wanted. simple breakfast
2.5
Beautiful historic lodge, lobby and fireplace. Beautiful location.
Bed was uncomfortable and too small. Shower was very small, could hardly turn around in it. Only one ice machine for the entire building, and we were four hundred feet from it.
5.0
amazing staff who go out of the way to make your entire trip successful- from hike suggestions to room adjustments. amazing location also
bathrooms are very tiny which is ok but also have a few old implements - our towel rod fell off and bathroom lock was faulty
3.5
Location. Breakfast buffet marginal
Adjacent rooms with connecting doors, while do not expect total sound suppression , I prefer to not be able to hear whole conversations.
2.5
Beautiful old lodge with big rooms. Loved the fireplace in the lounge .
For $300 plus, the room had no TV, coffee pot or mini fridge. The bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom

Beautiful old lodge
not enough food choices

Didn't eat breakfast there.
We could hear everything being said in the room adjacent to ours. No privacy.
2.5
Proximity to glacier national park
Rooms decor and bathrooms need updating. Appears run down.

Staff very friendly. Pretty views, nice lobby
We were told we had a queen size bed and it was only a full size. Made for uncomfortable sleeping.
3.5
Hotel lobby is gorgeous, but room is very dated, need renovation bad ! Room is decent size though.
There is no A/C in the room, I make sure that my room is not on the top floor. We are on 2nd floor, don’t feel hot in the room ! There is no TV, no clock in room, no microwave, no refrigerator in room, no breakfast provided. There is no elevator in hotel, carrying all your luggage up the stairs is hard work ! I was surprised to find a hair dryer in bathroom.
I was glad to have a room with shower - good shower with great flow of water !
Some friends of ours got room with old-fashioned tub, it is terrible !
Hotel was closed in 2020 due to pandemic, but they only renovated 5 rooms. A friend got one of these renovated room, it is very nice !
3.5
Beautiful hotel lobby and great location
Bathroom was really small and hot water would run out

Staff was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary experience feel special.. even included a hand signed card and gift basket.
3.5
no breakfast walk up to hotel is very steep and with the wind and altitude it is quite difficult for older people to manage. I realize the Hotel is very old but for safety reasons alone there should be a more safe and gradual walkway to the Lobby.
The bathroom and the shower were VERY SMALL. and the shower head did not move so was not easy to even get all of your body wet. and my roommate is very short only 5 ft. and she could hardly shower because the spray hit her right in the face.

need up grade for the bed

The history and beauty of the lodge can not be beat. She is well over a hundred years old and in great shape. The staff was wonderful and the food and drinks were great too. I can’t wait to go back.
I liked everything. But I know what to expect from a beautiful old lodge. The bathrooms are small and older. There are no televisions in the rooms. But there is s huge fireplace, grand piano and all kinds of games and puzzles as well as WIFI.
I was there the last two days of the season. Maybe they should consider updating the extra blankets in the room.

The building is fantastic.
