The location was fabulous! The suite was spacious. Having two bathrooms was nice.
The gym machines didn’t work. The tv/cable was off most of the time. I didn’t get the room I paid for ($100 difference)and their compensation was to waive the amenity fee ($30) - which they didn’t. Ended up charging for it anyway and when I have called and emailed, I get no response. Sheets/pillows for the pullout were hard to find and had to go to the desk twice for service.

Close to Zoo
Let them know the heater did't work too good

Wife and I have stayed here at least 10 times for multiple nights. We love the location.

The staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. They were very accommodating. The Parker restaurant was delicious with friendly wait staff. The security guard Micheal was super friendly, and we felt like we made a friend.
The bed was too firm for my tastes. I prefer a softer bed. The pillows were comfortable.

Good location
Shower drain very slow. Problems with toilet flushing. Rooftop bar was mostly closed for events.

The location is great, very convenient.
Be careful when booking through third-party websites: our room was downgraded on arrival, without any compensation being offered. So my father and I paid for two king-sized beds, and instead I ended up sleeping on a couch – that the staff suggested we make up ourselves (they did make the bed after we asked again). The whole thing was handled very nonchalantly by the staff, and it was a lot to deal with straight off a ten-hour flight. I would not stay here again.

Staff was very kind and looking to make all guests feel comfortable.
The attached cafe house was grossly overpriced and understaffed. Luckily, there is a wonderful restaurant around the corner. It’s called Nookie’s and has an amazing breakfast menu…and serves lunch and dinner, as well.

Great location. Good size room.
Wish there was a small refrigerator in the room.
Lack of access to ice machines.
2.5 / 5.0
Great location right by the park, busses, and trains.
Semi transparent sliding bathroom doors without locks that don’t close all the way, very hard mattress with no extra bedding, incredibly drafty with poor temperature control.

nothing
1. did not have my booking.com reservation when I checked in.
2. AC unit in room was ancient and so loud we hardly slept.
3. window latch was broken so window could not close properly
4. housekeeping service was bad. gave coffee but no cups. did not refresh toiletries.
5. told very rudely not to use the special rooftop bar elevator but to use ONLY the ancient other elevators
6. $15 extra fee was a complete rip off
7. free drink at bar was a bait and switch. only beer or house wine.
8. Barman was disgusting. worse than rude. service at rooftop bar was so bad we left without ordering. tried to upsell us on scotch saying our requested brand was not carried. etc etc etc.

This hotel has a great location to get to downtown, Lincoln Park area, Lakeview and more. The decor is boutique unique with great paintings and Chicago history mixed in. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean. The
All was excellent.

they “upgraded” our room, yet made us pay for it?? that’s not how that’s supposed to work. I also never got back the $100 for incidentals.. this place is a joke.

The location was perfect and couldn't be better. The hotel had an Old Chicago Vibe which was lovely. But the rooms are small and the elevators were incredibly slow. Staff was awesome. I would definitely go there again but it's not a luxury Comfort Hotel
