The room had a smell to it, like stale cigarettes and bleach. They had cranked up the heat so high that we had to run the AC all night. Bed sheets had stains on them and smelt like nothing had been washed. The tv only played the weather channel. Definitely wouldn't recommend

Location was good. Price was good and room was very clean. Decent place to stay for a few nights.
Building could use a facelift, but still a decent place to stay.

This is an old-timey motel that has been well kept up and maintaining its 1960s feel. The only thing in the room not reminiscent of that era was the flat screen TV on the wall. It's a low key, plain motel that is fun to experience. The lighting was good and in spite of the window unit looking like it was really old, it cranked out great heat!
The bed wasn't comfortable for me.

The property owners were very nice and professional.
It’s an older property so it’s kind of uncomfortable.

Nice, clean room.
Poor water pressure. We stayed on a Friday night and most other guests, were partying until 1:30 am. Glad we brought earplugs!

Very outdated. And a cheap breakfast. For the price should have been a much better looking place.

The staff was exceptional. When a storm hit they were very helpful with extending our stay and making sure we had everything we needed.

I truly enjoy these small motels. A great place to stay! Room (queen) was plenty big, Clean, Comfortable, Secure. Bed was comfortable and, thankfully, the pillows were soft. Towels clean and soft. Continental breakfast was good to start the day. The owners are friendly, which is nice when traveling across the states.
Nothing bad about this place - will happily stay again.

Great friendly family run establishment. Rooms were very clean. From now on I will stay here when I want to go half way on a trip from Denver to Lincoln.
There was nothing I didn't like.

nothing!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Nice quiet stay.
Breakfast left a lot to be desired. I expected a hot breakfast and there was only cereal, toast and some yogurt.

The hotel was easy to find. Check-in went very smooth and the owners/managers of the hotel were charming and extremely helpful! They answered all of my questions about the attractions and restaurants available and even made some valuable suggestions. The room was small but exceptionally clean and well maintained. The breakfast was limited but a great added value! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone passing through!
There is absolutely nothing I can say bad about this hotel! I would have loved to use the pool but the time of the year I was traveling made that impossible (not the fault of the hotel)!
4.0
Clean room in older hotel, very good room price, small breakfast offering with price of room, located near center of North Platte rather than closer to I-80. The location is in a quiet part of town.
Location is a bit off interstate yet easy to find. Hotel age shows a bit, but doesn't degrade the room stay.

I had just spent 5 days moving family back from California to their new home and just needed some space. Being an older property, I had expected a simple motel with no frills involved, but was surpised to find it was well maintained and very clean! The clerk at check-in made it feel like staying with family (like grandma or your favorite aunt) and was very accommodating. My room was spotless and actually provided more amenities than other stops I had made during my trip. The water pressure was excellent, my bed was super comfortable, and the heat/air unit blew strong without being overly loud. The next morning I took advantage of the continental breakfast and I have to say the variety of offerings were outstanding. Toast, muffins, yogurt, probably 10 different options of hot or cold breakfast cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, hot tea, regular and chocolate milk, and orange juice. If you leave hungry, it would be your own fault!! If I am ever in need of a room in North Platte again, this is the first place I will look for!
Not really as much of a complaint as an inconvenience, but there are limited food options after 8pm since it is in the older part of the city. However, with only a couple turns on the main streets, the places that stay open later are less than a 5 minute drive to the south.

The property was clean and quiet. Very affordable.
Not close off the interstate.

Such a spacious clean room. Old fashioned but the price was right 😃

Old fashioned roadside hotel (with real keys). Exceeded our expectations!
The bad - rooms and beds are small, some wear and tear
The good - easy on your wallet, clean, fairly comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful
Great, cheap place to spend the night.

Breakfast was fine :)
The owners were pleasant.
The hotel was very retro. It was kinda cool :)
I had to unplug some things from the power strip in order to charge my phone.

Clean, well maintained, friendly , helpful staff( Brandy) quiet, good location

It is a couple miles off 1-80 but easy access. A little old school with nice amenities. The family/ managers is delightful
It was a bit farther into town but not problematic .
