Beautiful, well-maintained building and room; easy entry access and self-check-in; spacious room, comfortable bed, great value.

It's a beautiful old craftsman home that has been well kept and updated. Our bed was large and the bathroom spacious. The breakfast was very nice and the lush oak trees and mountain views made for an wonderful ambiance. And the price was very reasonable, about the same as many motels in Pasadena.
Be prepared for stairs, especially if you are on the 3rd floor. The location is lovely, but not really walkable to many places although this did not bother us.

Location. Convenience. Beautiful Mountain View. Gorgeous, massive oak trees surround the property. Nice breakfast in traditional BnB ambiance.
Walls are thin, so rooms are a bit noisy—could hear someone on a conference call early in the morning and someone else stomping around upstairs.
A modest suggestion—how about including two little bars of soap? There was only one, so two of us shared it between the sink and the shower.

The breakfast was outstanding! The owner and staff were efficient and friendly.
We loved the extras . . .Happy Hour wine, mini fridge in hallway, goodies available with Venmo (homemade cookies, soda, bar)
It was perfect.

It is a pretty, historic home. The family that runs it are nice and the breakfast is good. they provide evening wine.
Regrettably, the rooms are impacted by strong roadway noise and there's no workable fan to help cancel out the noise. Had a couple of nights without much sleep. while the owners were accommodating to change rooms, they should add double pane windows and a workable fan given the surrounding roads and highways.

beautiful wooded hilltop with view
no wine left at happy hour
living room dirty dishes left out
no staff around except at breakfast — really nice helpful staff tho when present

Super comfy, beautiful old home. Space to chill downstairs and beautiful view outside. Great location, service, and food.
Make sure you know your code. Didn't like other guests knocking for us to let them in lobby, didn't feel comfortable to do so, sorry.

very charming.
welcoming.
Delicious home made breakfasts.
It has a bit more deferred maintenance which may begin to detract from its charm.

Even there during extreme heat, we were pretty comfortable.
Staff is great and the food is delicious.
Room was VERY sweetly upgraded although unknown to them, I had wanted a bathtub like I booked.
The fan above the bed would occasionally make a slight knocking during the night (my husband though there was a woodpecker in the area🤣).

Is a really nice place to stay, so close to City Hall & Downtown, and close for Disney. Is very nice house/hotel with all the decorations & breakfast.
The room can be better. Is a pipe crossing the room and the towls looks like no clean.

Great location for an event at the Rose Bowl. Stayed 2 nights, bed was super comfy. Breakfast was great both days.
The room wasn't cleaned either day, but not a big deal.
The only negative was a lack of water. Apparently the water delivery didn't come, but there was no bottled water either. We didn't have a car so it was quite an inconvenience.
I would still return and recommend this cute B&B

Super easy to check in and check out. Great value and convenient location! Had breakfast Sunday morning which was a nice treat that was included. also enjoyed the wine in the lobby. Room was clean.
We weren’t sure how to get in touch regarding room service; our room was not cleaned while we were there. The water dispenser in the lobby was also empty during the duration of our stay. Just minor inconveniences though that did not interrupt our stay.

The breakfast was fabulous. The hotel is very charming. The location is great.
The plumbing needed attention in the bathroom. The room was very noisy.

jacuzzi bath tub didn’t work
Staff is not very friendly we stayed there once before & never even saw a single staff member the whole two days

This is a lovely place to stay - a grand dame of an inn high on a hill amongst the trees. Cozy, comfortable, welcoming, spacious rooms and bathrooms, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle on the landing, bathroom amenities, hand sanitizer in the room, TV, ceiling fan and A/C. Easy self check-in; beautiful parlor/living room; complementary wine and nuts; coffee even if you haven't included the breakfast with your room. We loved it. Enough parking for all 10 rooms. The road up the hill to the inn is single lane, so you have to be vigilant in driving up or down. It does have a turnout, just in case. We will definitely be back.
Nothing that I can think of!

Loved the hotel's location in south Pasadena and the city-view from the parking square. Staffs here are so nice. The driveway into&out the hotel is narrow to me, but sooner I got accustomed to and enjoyed this 3 days staying.
I did not bring my suitcase upstairs since it is too heavy without elevator.

Wonderful location and value! Staff are friendly/helpful and all are vaccinated. Beautifully renovated 1906 craftsman home with views of the mountains and lovely sunsets.
