Location and outward feel.
They weren’t ready for 3 pm check in - and were not nice about it. Also, multiple bags of dog poop outside our door. We let staff know, but we’re never picked up.

Comfy bed and quiet nice and close to Rockport

We loved the: comfortable beds; modern & fresh decor; lots of towels; large tv and access to lots of channels; modern features like Google assistant and WiFi; electric fireplace was cosy; easy check in; nice location.
No provision to have hot drinks throughout the day/night (though coffee was available in the morning from hotel lobby). An extra mat would be helpful- to wipe feet as you enter room- and extra provision to hang clothing.
4.5
The location gave us easy access to both Rockland and Camden.
Everything was fine.

Recently remodeled into a clean, comfortable and cheery place. The easy no-contact check-in was convenient, particularly after a long drive.
It took us a while to figure out the ROKU tv, but that speaks to our lack of tech savvy.

Parking and the fireplace
I could have used a coffee maker

beautifully adorned
such beautiful decoration, but left no place for guests to put their things. It says your things are more important than your guests

Humid room with paper thin walls. Quite dirty floor

staff was fantastic. They offered a solution to the issue from the previous occupant.
The room was laid out weird - however it was very cute. The previous occupant smoked heavily in the room (non smoking) they tried to get the stench out, however using the bathroom was horrid. The staff did accommodate by reducing our rate. They were very apologetic. Overall I would try staying here again.

The location was good, close to Camden and the wonderful Camden St Park. It is about 90 minutes from Acadia National park.
The hosts were great in their prompt responses to minor issues. We had a very pleasant stay.

The Lodge is obviously old. However, the Inn keepers have put a lot of effort into modernizing it and making it attractive. Our bungalow was uniquely decorated, which was fun! The beds were comfy and we slept well! What more do you need? Wifi was great and if weather had been better we may have enjoyed the firepit or the pool….
The only thing missing in our room were water glasses, which was easily remedied. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out the sink tap was reversed for hot and cold but there was plenty of hot water!

A fully renovated motel that definitely reflects pride in ownership. The decor is adorable, many amenities such as outdoor seating, pool, bbqs. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful. Close to Camden and Rockland. Highly recommend.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated.
The location was convenient and quiet when we were there. The beds were uncomfortably soft and the mattresses were worn in that they were not level. Both my friend and I didn't sleep well because of it and took a while for our backs to work out the kinks before our hike the next morning. Sheets were nice but didn't make up for the old mattresses. Maybe other rooms have better beds as I got the last room available.
