Location on the Main Street, walking distance to town. Dog friendly with no fee.
The property seems to have been remodeled recently, the bed is lumpy, the fitted sheet barely fit the mattress. My room wasn’t clean. The were long blond hairs in the shower around the room. The shower head was disgusting and didn’t spray properly. There was low water pressure. This was very disappointing as the weekend was hot, with weather in the 90’s. You could hear when other rooms turn on there shower. The walls were thin. We got a room on the lower level near the entrance and there were people talking and smoking outside my room all night. There was only cereal and coffee has an option for breakfast, we walk to near by restaurant to eat a hot breakfast.

You could hear the other rooms using water in bathrooms.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Price was fair. Location was good.
Got a bit noisy as the evening went on and the walls were pretty thin, apparently. Traffic and neighbors might be an issue for light sleepers.

The property was closed to restaurants and few shops
Got here at 1:00 couldn’t check in until 4:00. The upstairs room was very noisy The Wi-Fi couldn’t get the netflix to work and last night at 11:21 pm people outside room talking and sounds of a maid cart rolling up and down the sidewalk.

Location was decent.
Room had a dumpster right outside the front door. The walls were really thin and you could hear everything everyone was doing in the rooms around you.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Had excellent help from a Maid when my Father-In-Law fell (His fault) and bled on the bed.
She was exceptionally helpfull and even checked on him afterward to make sure he was Ok.

Close by all attractions, walking distance to restaurants and entertainment activities.
Pool nice.
Had dumpster right by rooms on the end in the front, attracted a lot of bees. You could smell trash in the rooms.

Room was clean. It was in a great location and the staff was more than accommodating.
Bed was a little soft and lumpy. I need a firmer mattress to sleep in. Everything else was good.

it was pricey. the rooms smelled like smoke and were old. the mattresses were old and lumpy. we checked in and didn’t stay two hours. the front desk clerk said she would talk to the manager about a refund and we haven’t received anything.

The staff was friendly but had little power to resolve issues. They were understood the situation but everything had to go through a manager who was NEVER on site.
Let's start with the fact that the door latch didn't work. You had to key the bottom of the door like you were a SWAT team member to get it open. This is a huge SAFETY concern for anyone but for us even more so as I am legally blind. Then let's move to the bed frame that stuck out from under the bed that caused a pretty nasty fall. The beds had hard rails that ran right down the middle causing sleep to be difficult if not almost impossible. The walls are paper thin. We heard the guests next door speaking and their dog crying and howling all night. While we had a non smoking room the front office was filled with the smell of cigarettes. We didn't even try the breakfast because of that. The front office desk area wasn't clean and paint chipped off the walls. The dog area was on the side of the hotel and hadn't been cleaned up from horrible pet owners who don't pick up after their dogs. People standing around the front office that looked more like homeless people rather than guests on vacation. NEVER AGAIN!

The location in Helen is great. I paid to park down the road to explain the main village, but could have easily walked instead. The main reason I chose this property was because they were pet friendly, and even better, did not charge extra. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful. I spent some time at one of the wineries a few miles away, and then down in the village. My room was clean, water was hot and had strong pressure for the shower, it had a fridge (great for storing all the leftovers), and while I didn’t stay late enough in the morning, was glad I had the option for breakfast.
This doesn’t really have to do with the management or property per se, but I had really noisy neighbors. The walls are thin, so the water from the showers can be heard, the people above me stomped around and the people on the side could be heard through the walls. I just turned on some music/tv and was exhausted so it didn’t bother me that much, but that was my only issue.

Location was great as was the staff and our room. It was a nice stay. Close to the shopping district and the wineries.
Just our beds squeeked, thinking that was about it

Location was good. Within walking distance to town.
While the room was clean, the outside of the hotel was not. The mountain view was blocked and the noise level inside the room was almost unbearable. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms and outside.

I liked location
We have stayed in this hotel 2 times before this and had minimal issues. It was a real turn off from eating my dinner last night when I see multiple roaches climbing the walls. The water barely got hot. People to the left of us were cussing and hollering at 1130 at night. And the people above us started stomping and running at 6 am this morning. The front desk person wasn't really friendly or talkative like past people have been. But I'm the most grossed out at the amount of roaches we found in our room for the price we paid I expected it to be cleaner

The Pancakes were amazing and the room and bed were comfortable and pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind!
The walls were thin and we heard someone snoring loudly through the walls. Perhaps when the hotel has plenty of vacancies, more attention can be paid to where guests stay. We had 2 young kids and they could hear people being loud through the wall.

support My wife got sick and after about 2 hours after check in and I had to call 911. We stayed in Gainsville, Georgia hospital most of time. Only stayed a short time at the motel. Slept part of one night at the motel. Thanks for the experience of a vacation, but my wife said she was never going on another vacation because of the sickness and going to the hospital.
My wife getting sick. Having to call 911. At least we got to see Anna Ruby Falls after checking out of the room. We enjoyed the experience.

I didn't use the provided service because I like to go out for a full breakfast on vacation. But the motel's service appeared nice.
The room's flooring was attractive, but in need of a good disinfectant cleaning instead of just a dry dust mop. I wiped up some water my dog splashed out of her bowl, and the rag was totally black. Also, one of the chair's seat cushions was terribly worn with tears and holes. There's nothing more distracting than shabby, worn out furniture in a nice motel room.

I love the location to all the things to do in Helen. I liked the dog run. The lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful.
The room was dirty. I was shocked when I seen the sink had old coffee and hair all in it. The floor and bed tables were also nasty. The young couple that appeared to be living at the hotel were constantly smoking weed. Housekeeping never came to the room . We were there a week. We left the dirty towels outside the door like we were told but nobody ever gave us clean ones. My main complaint has to be housekeeping. Don't know what they are getting paid to do but it's certainly not working!

It was relatively clean.
The bath tub drain was slow. There was an inch of water standing after taking a shower. The people in room 118 were allowed to keep a pitbull and it barked a lot. The walls and ceiling are paper thin. Could hear people upstairs walking around late at night. Could hear conversations next door.

Bed linens were dirty, carpet was dirty. I had a family emergency and had to check out a day early and they wouldn't refund the money for the day I didn't use
