Great stay, but a few downsides

Rooms are completely remodeled, very beautiful. Grounds are well maintained. Pool area was very nice. Towels and covers on every chair. Firepits, chairs, fish ponds, all very nice. Beautiful bar and restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can walk to many things close by to do. Not far to drive by car to wineries, breweries, distilleries

Heat was not working in the room. Many rooms were not finished and it got very cold in the evenings. We were given another room. The trees outside have string lights wrapped around them which makes them VERY bright. The light shines through the curtain cracks so you have to seal every gap. Light switched have small green bright lights that don't turn off, so they shine right into your eyes when you try to sleep. And the exhaust fans in the bathrooms NEVER shut off, annoying.

A lovely place to stay!

Grounds are lovely, quiet and serene! Room was clean but dated and the CLIMB to get into tub/shower was a bit of a shock! Staff is friendly and pleasant!

The air conditioner barely worked and the refillable shampoo/shower gel/conditioner was empty and stayed that way even after we texted “Ivy” the virtual assistant.

Location! Location! Location! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The spa on the balcony was very cool and fun.

The bathroom was dated and the carpet in the room was dirty

Historic property in great location--beautiful extensive gardens, basic rooms

Great Location across from a park, walking to many restos and cafes. This property has been here for quite a while, so it's somewhat "historic" but mostly in the lobby and bar area upstairs. Room was fine, if basic. The best thing about this property is the extensive gardens right outside our door. Many rose bushes in bloom, other gardens, koi ponds, manufactured 'streams' and lounging furniture scattered about.

Maybe could use more personalized decorating in the rooms, to make them more quaint and add more character.

Historic hotel downtown Paso

It is an historic hotel in a prime location The gardens were lovely and nicely maintained.

The rooms were disappointing. I realize it's an historic hotel but they were quite cramped and "motel style"

We have stayed here before, mainly for the location and the value. We like that the Inn is on the main square and we can walk to restaurants and shops. We love Il Cortile restaurant, right around the corner. The room was comfortable, there is a refrigerator, and microwave in the room. Staff was very helpful. If we needed anything, we just had to text or call and it would be delivered to our room quickly. The grounds are really nice. It would be nice to have more seating areas for more than two people.

We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was pretty terrible. Oatmeal was like gray water. This hasn't been our experience in the past. Our friend's room was so small there wasn't room for a bedside table on one side of the bed(so no lamp either)

Great style. We somehow booked 2 beds instead of one. I’m not sure how that happened but it was not ideal for a married couple. The room was clean. The toiletries were below par. I haven’t used bar soap in years!

Very peaceful and relaxing

Upon arrival to the room the AC unit was off so therefore it took some time for the room to cool off. Maintenance was called immediately, checked AC unit. Minor adjustments made. No further issues. For future reference I would book reservations again for this place

Very good

The hotel is so central, it is hard to find a better location! We really enjoyed the in-room fireplace/heater, and the pool/spa area was a nice treat after a long day of wine tasting.

There wasn't any maid services (due to covid), but knowing that, the hotel could have stocked more than two towels for our 3 day stay. And we could have totally requested them, but having a few more in the room would have been great.
