It was close enough to base lodge. Given the warm weather it was no problem to drive over to the waterpark and park close to the building. The golf cottages are more spacious than the hotels. Beds were reasonably comfortable.
Check in after 5pm is a pretty blatant attempt to keep cleaning staff low and encourage spending money at the mountain while waiting to check in. Pretty crummy move.
Significant ant problem in the kitchen and bathroom. Killed 6-8 ants a day. Some were in the dishwasher.
Ran dishwasher and it flooded under the sink.
Don't walk barefoot in the kitchen. Our feet turned black with dirt.
Carpet stains everywhere.
Dryer took 2hrs to dry 4 towels.
Lower bathroom tub didn't drain.
Torn Fabric hanging down onto the floor from ALL the dining room chairs. Impossible not to see this when you walk in.
Valance over sliding door torn up and fabric stuffing coming out.
Bedroom layout not ideal when you have young kids. One bedroom is on the top floor and the other, two floors down in the basement. I didn't subtract anything from the rating for this but I feel like this isn't exactly made clear anywhere up front.
I thought the golf cottage pricing was less than the hotel room pricing because it was further from base lodge and water park. I'm realizing now, that while it is more spacious, it's just not as nice.

So many options for kids activities and places to dine, all affordable prices. My kids would choose Jay Peak weekends over Disney trips any day. I’ve only ever stayed at the Stateside Hotel which is well maintained, but you can tell A LOT of families and groups come through. Very clean but maybe the toilet paper holder is loose, or a faucet drips, or there’s a chip on the dresser. So many hockey teams and student groups use this hotel, but the friendly staff keep them mostly in check.
Only wish that the waterpark and clips and reels had earlier or later hours.

The hotel itself was pretty good. Service staff in restaurants were all quite good, personable and efficient.
The staff in the ski area were all helpful and friendly.
The reception/check-in was quick and easy.
For a room that approaches $400 per night with all the random fees attached, you shouldn't have to fold up facecloths to put under a table leg, so it wouldn't wobble. Another facecloth under the dresser so that the drawers would stay closed. Some of the towels were very tired and frayed. When I mentioned the towels at checkout, the guy didn't understand the word "frayed".

Skiing!!!
To begin with, not easy to be a Booking.com guest. After a complaint to management, this was rectified.

the restaurants and the staff in restaurants was super helpful and accommodating
only 4 lifts were working. long wait lines to get on the lift. the shuttle buses should just be going between the two hotels instead of every condo along the way making the trip between two places a half hour experience. staff had no idea about the lifts nor about the gear shop. the concierge at stateside hotel told us we had to go to tram house in order to be able to buy tea shirts when there’s literally a shop outside the hotel

The room was great, comfy, very clean
Is very far away of everything

full kitchen in unit
no tv in master bedroom and wouldn’t accommodate a later check out which was annoying.

The pull out bed was a little dated and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The beds were comfortable. The desk person was very nice.
For those of us not familiar with the resort it is not clear on the website that there were multiple hotels. It was not clear that “Stateside” was not in the same area as the conference center.
The shuttle was incredibly slow so we ended up driving ourselves.
The breakfast was very mediocre without much choice, especially for vegetarians. No decaf coffee.
The overnight parking at Stateside was an insult. Trudging through a snowstorm was no fun.

my son got to snowboard
it was the worst vacation ever and sorry I booked it and went

ski in, ski out
No maid service, which wouldn’t matter except there was nowhere to bring out our trash so it piled up.

Size, location
Clothes left behind by previous tenants, bathroom sink drain clogged

A lot of great facilities with restaurants and then the cottages nicely scattered around the area with great space.
The cottage was nice and big, but all the space could have been used much better for sleeping four people. Also, the heating system was very noisy a couple of times a day.

in the ski mountain with great evening activities for the kids
ski lockers didn’t work, late check in & early check out made using the facility on the first and last day of our stay difficult.

clean up to date!
check in was slow due to probably shortage of staff!

the weather and mountain terrain
rooms were not ready to check in until 10 pm. the rooms were poorly cleaned and it showed that good cleaning was not done for long time. we felt disgusted by the room conditions and couldn’t wait to leave the place.
