Mixed feelings

I loved the location and the staff was great. The inside pool was amazing and fun. The breakfast choices were great and all that was tried was delicious. Absolutely loved the pillows!! The room itself was nice and clean.

The bathroom was disgusting. The floor was sticky, almost fell in the tub, water pressure was horrible, major build up of nasty in the vents, and major dirt and dead skin build up on the counter and under the counter.

Over all it was a very good experince .

Front desk and staff they were very frindly ,the room is clean and comfortable ,the breackfast is good and even the resturant is very nice ,they are taking care off the facilty .

We would stay again! The staff was very kind, the breakfast was fantastic, and now we know there is no elevator in part

Loved the breakfast! Omelets made to order each morning, along with many other hot food choices and lots of different juice choices too! The lobby area is great and relaxing. Our son had a blast playing ping pong and hockey with other kids in the hotel. They also have a washer and dryer guests have access to, which was great for us.

I believe because we booked thru 3rd party, we were put on the 2nd floor of the hotel where there is no elevator. At 66 years old this was a trek getting our belongings up and down the stair case. We were very disappointed in the meals we ate (tried to eat) one night in the restaurant. We ordered prime rib and pork chops, both with mashed potatoes. It was pricey, and nasty. The food was not served hot, and both meats were rubbery? The food tasted old and warmed up. We did not complain to staff, but I hate not to warn others.

Disappointing.

Lobby was nice.

Room was gross. Wall was peeling in bathroom. The floor around the toilet had some sticky grey stuff on it. Sheets, pillow cases, and blankets were not clean. They had what I could only assume was food stains on them. Toilet did not stay up so I had to hold it up to pee ceiling had water leak stains on the grid. No fan in bathroom.

Alles tipptopp sauber - Frühstück war gut mit frisch zubereiten Eierspeisen.

If we come back to Colorado Springs and have the opportunity, I would definitely stay at the Academy again.

It was really a cool property, they even have an indoor swimming pool. We loved our room, it was comfortable and inviting and very clean. We got a really good nights sleep there the bed was very comfortable. And in the morning the breakfast buffet was amazing and the server that we had, she was the nicest lady. The front desk staff very friendly very nice.

I really do not have a bad thing to say about this hotel. It was a very good experience.

Unique, clean, comfortable hotel for a great price!

Breakfast was amazing! There was a full omelette bar, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc every morning. The rooms were very comfortable and the atrium area was so interesting and fun to see. It definitely seems like it caters to an older crowd, which my husband and I didn't mind at all.

The wifi was down the entire duration of our stay. Also, the pool is in the middle of the atrium and in full view of anyone walking past.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The property was well kept.

There a smoking station right outside the rear entrance. In order to enter the building, you had to walk pass the person or persons who were smoking.

I wished the scrambled eggs on the buffet had been cooked a little longer, they were a little runny -but I am also picky about my food.

I was charged for a room I couldn't check into by a rude clerk.

They didn't accept my card as a form of payment and then marked me as a no-show. My card was still charged (even though the clerk told me she didn't run my card) and they marked my as a "no-show" on my reservation. I will be awaiting my refund for 7-10 business days. I guess they do accept my card as it ran and completed the transaction.

I particularly didn't enjoy being left without a place to stay at 8pm with my kids. I am also very unhappy about the card situation explained above.

common areas were inviting and relaxing. loved the fireplace and kids LOVED the pool areas. nice restaurant available also. room was clean and they had the extra bed we ordered was there in the room and ready when we checked in.

the entry side door that was close to our room didn’t unlock with the keycard, it seemed like it was stuck or something so we weren’t able to use it. the front main entrance was fine to use just a little longer walk to our room.

The room was very nice, clean and in great condition. The free breakfast was awesome, more than I was expecting in a free hotel breakfast. The facility was a great experience for the modest price.

I would definitely NOT stay here again. the accommodations were sub par, and the staff indifferent I was sorely disappo

The property is in close proximity to amenities, restaurants and USAFA. There is a breakfast offered at the property and a large fire pit to gather around.

The room was NOT well appointed, lacked basic amenities, was extremely worn and dilapidated and had a strong and unpleasant odor. In the bathroom, the shower drain was clogged and no hair dryer was provided. The staff were absolutely ambivalent and unmotivated to assist when things were not up to expectations and made no efforts to resolve the many issues I experienced with the accommodations ( odor, clogged drain, no hairdryer, etc.) The staff may have been the most apathetic I have ever encountered in my travels.
