The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable.
The room was too small for the value.
The vents were very dirty. Dust was hanging. The hot water lasted approximately 10 minutes. Was promised a balcony and didn’t get one. The room smelled of mildew. There was trash in the drawer. No where to hang towels or wash cloths. Lighting bad in restroom.

Parking nightmare.....dusty dirty utility closet in room. AC not working properly

The property does not look like what is shown on Booking.com. The property is old and the paint is hot bubbling up on the walls, dirty baseboards, some rooms have furniture some don’t I’m not sure they turned on the air conditioning. I wish I would’ve gotten more pictures but did not.
The property does not look like was shown on Booking.com parking is very bad they make you pay $20 even if you park your car yourself $20 for valet or park yourself you’re still paying $20

the staff was kind
When we arrived the main elevator wasn’t working, and they put us on a floor that was being painted and had paint fumes wafting down the hall, and as a pregnant person it was unsettling. Workers had left trash and paint brushes on the ground. The balcony room that we booked had a shared balcony with many rooms and that was never mentioned anywhere in the booking. it backed up to a busy road so sitting out there to talk was pointless. but it was sadly why we booked the room in the first place. our phone in the room didn’t work along with the AC unit. so I had to call the front desk using my phone. They moved us to another room when we let them know the AC wasn’t working. the new room was nicer but the shower didn’t get very warm, and the paint job in the room was very sloppy. Overall a disappointing stay.

Nice neighborhood, pleasant and clean room
We were not told about the $15 per night parking nor the fact that they were going to make a $50 charge against our credit card.
We went to breakfast one hour before we needed to leave. it took a long time to take our order and our breakfast didn't arrive until 45 minutes after our initial arrival, so we were very rushed to finish

Friendly staff, good location, room was comfortable and large.
Building desperately needs some investment, was clearly a beautiful hotel back in the day but now tired and a little worn around the edges.

The bar tender was great! The Halloween dinner was wayyy too expensive & not very good to cost so much $270 for 2 meals. The hotel still needs updating. TV was difficult to operate. But overall it was a nice experience ☺️

The historical aspect of this beautiful hotel was extraordinary, but the staff is what made our stay really special. Clearly, a high service standard has been set and they execute it very well.
