The check in was easy. The booking was easy. The staff was very helpful.
The first room we were given was not clean. There were black hairs and sand on the sheets of one of the beds. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke. The staff had placed an OZONE machine in the room prior to us getting there, but it didn't help much. Also, the ozone machine was labeled as "DO NOT USE WHILE OCCUPIED." That was not a good item to leave in a room, especially if there were children.

I’ve stayed here over the years on business. It is convenient to everything, with shops and restaurants nearby. Easy access to major and minor roads as well. The rooms have been renovated and are simple, spacious, clean and quiet. Bed had new mattress and clean linens. Better outside lighting at night. Pool looks maintained. Usually don’t like 1st floor rooms, but, there were no problems with noise.
Nothing I can think of. The motel is used by a few construction companies for their crews, so there are usually large trucks and equipment, but that doesn’t bother me as it may others.

Nothing
Their where roaches in the bathroom. I checked out and got a hotel across the street within five minutes of checking in. Staff at the window was not friendly.

It was real nice very comfortable I really enjoyed my stay.
I didn’t like the fact that I saw an roach crawling in my room or the floor and I know I didn’t bring there because I don’t have roaches !!!!!

Not much. Good location.
Could go into many reasons, but suffice it to say that there is a reason why this hotel is so much less expensive then all the others in the area. You get what you pay for. Buyer beware.

it is very close to ECU. The staff is very courteous every time I stay. However…the walls are extremely thin. Usually I am able to hear traffic and other guests because the walls are so thin. The second night of my stay I got no sleep because the woman in the next room were having extremely loud and obnoxious sex. It sounded like the woman had multiple partners over the course of the night. I didn’t call the front desk to complain because I felt it might be embarrassing for the woman to have the front desk call and explain. But I also don’t know that a phone call would have stopped the activity. I also know that it isn’t the fault of the staff. However the extremely thin walls that I’ve overlooked in the year I’ve been staying there frequently when visiting my daughter at college, probably won’t be overlooked anymore. The renovations that have been happening at the facility obviously don’t include insulation. I will probably look into other places to stay.
EXTREMELY THIN WALLS

I liked that it was lit up and seemed safe
the rooms smelled stale/Smokey. I could tell that they are trying to do renovations hopefully that will help. one if the pillows had a stain on it.
