Beautiful Mountain View’s, nice sized room and vanity area. Nice sized bathroom. Liked the extra chair in room.
Wish instead of a desk it had a small table and 2 chairs. Breakfast area was small. Needs 2 waffle machines. Pool should be heated.

The hot tub/pool. Best location you can find in town besides Best Western.

Overall, a good place to stay for 1 night. Breakfast was ok, but paled in comparison to the breakfast at the Quality Inn in Cortez.
Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, but we were spoiled from the previous Quality Inn in Cortez.

Clean
Wifi wasn’t working, the toilet had a leak and it kept flushing throughout the night and waking us up
and the front desk wasn’t helpful

I wish to give a “shout-out” to the staff at the Quality Inn in Raton. They are professional and run a good operation there. They keep the hotel very clean. Breakfast was above expectations.
The building itself is dated, and there was a dog that barked frequently, but I carry ear plugs for occasions such as this.
2.5 / 5.0
Great location, excellent breakfast, cold air-conditioning, and friendly staff.
Bed was horribly sagged and extremely uncomfortable, poor water pressure in the shower, and poor noise control
1.5 / 5.0
The hotel was very old, run-down, noisy (walls and doors were so thin you could hear conversations next door and in the hallway), and was not very clean. The toilet had not been cleaned at all prior to our check-in. The towels were old and worn.

Good value for the price. Convenient location.
Older property could use some updates. Doesn’t affect stay. Purely aesthetic.

spruce up would help.
2.5 / 5.0
The location was convenient because I was getting tired on the road.
The breakfast was very low quality. I ended up eating elsewhere. Didn’t feel like anything here was worth the calories. The staff did not appear to be joyful or happy to be there, and was always in the back. The hotel had a weird odor to it. The desks in the room were not clean had cup rings and food oils on them. They listed they were short staffed.?. Idk if that matters with quality though.

The staff was very friendly and inviting.
We were greatly looking forward to sitting in the hot tub but it was not in service and there are no restaurants near the hotel.
2.0 / 5.0
Staff courteous. Good location. WiFi was very good.
Property not well maintained. Card reader at the side door not working, so someone (? guests or staff) repeatedly propped it open to allow re-entry. Not safe! Bad stains on carpet throughout hotel. Multi-floor hotel with NO ELEVATOR! We had to carry our heavy bags upstairs.

it was fine while driving north.
not very clean
