Great Location
The room quality. Tub was in bad shape

There's so much I can say about this hotel. For the price that I paid it was well worth it. The room was large enough for my husband and I and our three children. I love the fact that Wendy's, Subway, McDonald's, and Chick-fil-A were within walking distance. Bass pro shop is directly behind the hotel which my husband absolutely loved 😆. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
The only thing that I didn't like was the pull out bed was broke. My son woke up with his back a little sore from the angle he was sleeping on the mattress.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and location is very good regarding a venue that does many events within walking distance.
The first room smelled horrible and the second room I was switched to smelled better but did not have a well kept appearance. I am a property manager by trade and the condition was subpar. Very worn feeling. Functional but not appealing in cleanliness and visually. I also witnessed people entering other rooms through windows only a couple of rooms down. Again, I want to say the staff was very friendly and accommodating in making a room change and they offered a refund. I just didn’t have the time to find another place to stay with the obligations I had going on. I assumed this location would be well kept considering the location in Cary. I wish I had taken photos. The tubs showed major finishing wear and tear, refrigerator has rust on it and the floors were sticky. I only needed the bed and thankfully it felt like the only clean factor of the room. Disappointing especially regarding it is in a location that could easily draw a better clientele if the property was better maintained.

The size of the room was great. Decently clean.
The fact I smelled illegal substances the whole weekend. The dudes out the back door kept trying to sale me illegal substances. Even when I came out the door the dudes asking me do I want to participate in the illegal activities. The girl at the front desk was absolutely rude when we needed the plunger because our toilet was flushing incorrectly.

I did not get breakfast.
The moment I entered the front desk, the property was smelling smoke, I have a sinus problem, I started feeling headache, and my throat started bothering me. And when I came home, my clothes everything was smelling smoke, my room was not properly cleaned at all, toilet roll paper was beside the couch, I no utensils for someone to use. I really had a bad experience. I will never go or recommend your facility to anyone.

The sheets and towels looked clean. And that was all that was clean.
Upon entry the whole place smelled like marijuana. I could not locate a staff person around 6:30pm when I arrived. I was tired and past the 6pm cancellation or would have left right then. The halls smelled like that as well. The room had a different stink that stayed in all my clothes and luggage. The carpet was filthy and sticky causing your shoes to stick to the bathroom floor. I had driven a long way and was very tired and didnt know the area. I stayed the one night and checked out early next morning to go stay at another hotel....the security doors to the first floor kept being propped open by folks going outside to smoke and they would leave the door propped open. So security was an issue as well. Grounds were littered with trash and cigarette butts. It was an awful experience. No sense in mentioning to staff. They were uniformed or seemed not to care.

The front desk representative was very pleasant and detailed with customer service. The TV was the best highlight of staying in the room. It played nicely without any interruptions.
The room had massiveness of uncleanliness and roaches. After seeing these unwelcomed guests, I had to sleep on the edge of the bed. Being so tired and exhausted I didn't have much energy to move all my belongings to get another room. Yet, I paid over $100 for the night and the room was outdated dirty, smelly and had a few roaches crawling around.

For what they had it was great. One can't expect a Golden Coral buffet at a hotel. But it was satisfactory.
With my schedule i didn't have time to enjoy it every day. But it was readily available.

The only silver lining in the entire terrible ordeal during our stay was the Manager Paige. She is the only super friendly and super helpful staff in the entire facility.
Had freezing cold water running thru taps for two days not because of weather but because their water heating system would break down and needed reset - very poor maintenance. Staff was rude when calling front desk to inquire - just basically ask if anyone had reported the issue. They did not fix it for an entire day and the next day in afternoon when it started working - it broke down again in few hours. Depending who you talk to you get different answers for services from different staff.

It was close to my family. It was close to eateries and stores. It had a safety latch on the door.
It could definitely use some updates. I didn't find trash can. Found out later it was inside cabinet. I kept hearing noise and bangs on roof which made me uncomfortable. Housekeeping tried to enter without knocking first. Luckily I had safety latch on.

the water was hot for a shower
the hotel was run down, rooms and hallways weren't very clean. LOTS of cigarette butts everywhere. no cooking utensils or plates/silverware. No hot water in the kitchen sink, only in the bathroom. My room had a big red stain on the carpet and the towel rack came apart when I took the towel off of it. The wallpaper was pealing off in the bathroom.

I did not originally ask for a handicapped room, because I can get around pretty well, and I don’t need all the bars for the walls in the bathroom, etc, but when I found out my room was on the 2nd floor with no stairs, I asked for a handicapped room, and they gave me one on the 1st floor with no problems.
No elevator. I went outside to go to the office, because from the ground floor you have to go up to the 2nd and then down 1/2 to the office.
