A lovely way to spend the night in the beautiful town of Konstanz.

I wasn't aware that the rooms were over a biergarten and restaurant but it did not impact our stay in the least. The breakfast in the morning was typical European (fresh rolls and croissants, meats and cheeses, fruits, vegetables, yogurt and cereals). On the second day the innkeeper kindly came to our room to check on us when she noted that we had not been down yet. Very quiet room, with room darkening shades. A bit of a ways from city center but really close to (free) bus and ferry. Very little English spoken (after all it is Germany) but staff is patient and most accommodating.

The room was 3 flights up (actually my fault for not inquiring) and may be difficult for older travelers. Room initially smelled musty, as if someone smoked in the bathroom, but aired out quickly by opening the windows.

Sehr Freundlicher Empfang und Service beim Frühstück. Kostenloser Parkplatz am Haus. Das Frühstück war ein kleines Buffet mit guter Brötchen- und Wurstauswahl, Eier, Käse und selbstgemachter Marmelade, Müsli. Ich habe nichts vermisst. Im grossen Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und Fernseher gabe es einen großen Schrank für die Kleidung. Im großen Badezimmer gab es auch eine guter Dusche. Die Lage war perfekt zur Fähre oder Bushaltestelle in das Konstanzer Zentrum

Für den günstigen Preis war alles perfekt

Frühstück war sehr lecker, Zimmer war sehr gut. Lage ist super. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus. Mit Auto max. 10 Minute zur Konstanzer Therme. Herzlichen Dank!

Top! Gerne wieder.

Der Gasthof hat eine super Lage. Es sind nur knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bodensee bzw. zum Fähranleger nach Meersburg. Das Frühstückspersonal war ganz besonders freundlich. Dass wir unseren Hund mitbringen durften, war für uns besonders wichtig und auch dieser hat sich im Gasthof sehr wohl gefühlt.

Friendly staff and good breakfast, located close to a part of the lake and the free public transportation ticket was really useful.

Simple hotel in a great location for the price; really good value for money.

Clean, simple rooms close to lake Konstanz. lovely hosts, and the breakfast was generous and tasty.

The pillow and duvet cover were made of a polyester type material which made the bed very warm, and static.

Staff can talk very little English it was a bit hard to communicate. But they were friendly and helpful. There was no fridge in the room.

It was not far from Insel of Mainau or Konstanz and the ferries are like 1 km from location!!

Room was clean and the location was great. It was easy to come and go as you pleased.

The pillow was too soft and the breakfast was very limited. The owners could only speak German which is difficult if you can't.
