The location was central to just about everything
They are in middle of redoing carpet and paint but nothing is complete. The carpet in our room was nasty and smelled. The air conditioning did not work well so the room was humid and never fully cool

clean
lost power from strom so it got hot befor morning and took a cold shower but not propeertys fault

I like that there is always someone at the front desk to greet. we liked that breakfast is included and the choices that there is.
the carpet seemed a big old or dirty. not sure if it’s been vacuumed or if the Cartier was ever actually cleaned. we also didn’t like that when the power went out, due to the storm, that there was not anything for back up, the emergency lights didn’t work either. the hotel was very dark and somewhat scary when the power went out.

The rugs in the hallway is missing and the first room the air conditioner didn't work the breakfast was not there remodeling I got changed 98 dollars for my second night I paid 3 dollars to wash a load of laundry and 3dollers to dry the laundry 6dollers to wash one load of laundry.no alarm clock in the second room I was moved to and no place to plug in the microwave or coffee pot internet didn't work. I'm very dissatisfied with the hotel and the condition of the place.somthing needs to be done and I should get at least part of my money back and I got charged a 40doller deposit for the room when I have the receipt from you telling me I don't owe nothing to the hotel when I got there and I was.
I have already explained everything in the first boxes I have nothing to say about it anymore 😔😭.

The staff was pleasant and efficent. The hallways are undergoing a renovation as of May 2023. The property is changing to a Days Inn, which may be good or bad.
We always stay at this Baymont when in Fort Smith. This stay was subpar. Our room was not very clean. The walls were dirty and scratched. The door had been stained to cover damage, but they stained over the metal parts also. The carpet was less than the usual clean. It seemed more like a bad Econolodge room. May have to stay somewhere else next time.

Since a tremendous amount of remodeling was being done to change the facility from a Baymont by Wyndham to a Days Inn by Wyndham, there was no carpet in the hallways, there was tremendous construction noise and, thus, the $91.58 charge was outrageous and should have been at least reduced by half. Also, the fact that we booked our stay in the Baymont & that name was still on the facility, yet the charge to my credit card was for Days Inn Fort Smith US shows FRAUD! Our booking was well enough in advance that the management was derelict in not communicating with us in advance about the changes and construction. Even the written communication posted by management on the check-in window was full of grammatical and spelling errors. SHAME ON THE BAYMONT/DAYS INN MANAGEMENT, SHAME ON WYNDHAM AND SHAME ON BOOKING, COM!!!

Breakfast. Greetings. Location

Breakfast was very good, eggs and sausage, fruit, pastries, waffles, cereal, and very good, not weak coffee. Baymont has good coffee where ever we go.
furnishings in the room were in need of updating. Carpet in the room was old and I don't like carpeted rooms, the floors with laminate are much better. The couch and chair were old looking. The tv was way to far away from the bed, or needed to be much bigger.

there was no hair dryer in the room.

only there about 4 hours, short nap while traveling.
no hot water in bathtub, not clean, outlets not working.

nothing
elevator did not work, I carried a heavy bag with files up 3 flights of stairs, walls had stuff all over them, mold in the corners and a spot on the bed sheet looked like mold.

The staff was friendly.
The bathtub was not clean. The caulk around the tub was coming a way from the wall. Definitely not the best value for what I paid.

The front desk woman who checked us in was polite and professional
This hotel is trashed. I don't know if COVID was especially hard on this hotel or if management has divested, but the walls were covered with grunge stains in several places. The elevator was in horrendous, if not dangerous, shape. Several buttons are broken, the up/down arrow indicators are broken, and the floor display doesn't work. When the elevator is in motion, there is loud clanging and scraping heard in the elevator shaft. The metal of the door and interior lining of the car is heavily rusted and hasn't been cleaned in a VERY long time, apparently. The inspection certificate required by Arkansas State Law to be displayed inside the elevator itself is missing. In its place, a MS Word print out saying the inspection certificate is kept at the front desk. I asked for the copy and was advised it was kept in a safe they couldn't open. Nice try, but I'm pretty sure that means the elevator failed the last inspection and they are trying to hide it. Don't worry... called the agency responsible for that and reported it.
The room was a king suite with a sleeper couch in the room for our young kiddo. There were no sheets in the room for the sleeper sofa and I had to go back downstairs to get a pillow, sheets, and blanket for that bed. There were only 2 bath towels provided in the room, despite the room being rated to sleep 4. That was a 2nd trip down to the main desk to get more towels. The alarm clock next to the bed was completely inoperable and useless. Thankfully, we are in the age of cell phones and the alarm clock wasn't needed. The mirror at the vanity was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The furniture in the room was heavily damaged and dirty showing dust covering most of surfaces. The landline telephone on the desk was broken and turned on the speakerphone randomly causing a loud dial tone to just start abruptly. I ended up unplugging the phone to stop this from happening and let the family sleep.

The lady at check in was very nice and professional. The breakfast was great 👍. The room was clean but worn.
It was awkward for traveling with our service dog and the laundry room location was not conducive to handicap needs.
