the owners are amazingly nice, the room was comfortable and spotless, and right on the main street of town.
the toweks were a bit scratchy but everything was spotless. also the parking spaces are a tad narrow so one morning whomever decided to park too close to my truck (ford expmorer, smallish for an suv usualky compact) was likely po'ed that theure paint was scratched bc there was no way for me to climb in from the other side. sorry guys. all.in all that was the only issue i had with this property and it wasnt even an issie at all. all in all a good stay and ill be back next time i come into town

nothing absolutely nothing..
It was extremely hot and took a very long time to cool down. It was dirty and in disrepair. At 3 a.m, someone attempted to open the door that adjoins hotel rooms. My husband and I got up and left as soon as we could get out of there. This room was not worth anywhere near $100.00.

Big, comfy bed, powerful shower, clean room, with a fridge and a microwave. Few minutes drive to city centre, c.20 minutes from White Sands. Plenty of food outlets within walking distance. Ideal.
Half the time, we couldn’t get an internet connection at all. The sign says to contact the Reception if it 'dosent' work - but that's not very helpful at 3am.
The beds had only a thin white sheet and a decorative cover. No warm covers, even in late December. I mentiined this to the kindly proprietor; it's an easy and inexpensive fix, so i imagine it'll be dealt with.

The bed was comfortable
The room wasn't worth the price. The blanket on the bed was dirty. There were people arguing outside my room. It not a place I would stay again

It was clean. The AC worked. There were no pests or bugs.
It was very expensive for not having working internet. The sign in the office also says no refunds if the internet doesn't work, so they're aware of the issue and just don't care to fix it. If you don't have working internet don't advertise that you do, anything else is lying.

What breakfast?? I was told nothing about this
Stains in the room, hair in the bathroom, light bulbs burnt out, literally they had a paper clip and some tape to hold the curtains closed, the tape didn't work so the bright light right outside shined in my room all night

The hotel is along the main highway and pretty close to all rests (McDonalds, Denny's Wendy's, Kentucky, and a Chinese restaurant, etc). The best of all is that White Sands National Park is just about 10-13 minutes, just straight ahead. The lady at the counter is friendly.
The parking area is a bit small and can be crowded but it's not really an issue. An big RV might have some trouble getting/squeezing in?

location was great. Lots of restaurants a Walmart nearby.
Office people were nice, but didn’t speak much English, which made it difficult to communicate.

Shower didn't work and couldn't take a bath. Very cramped parking space.i was

I think the bed sheets and towels were clean, although I found a hair on a washcloth and on the fitted sheet. The location was fine, I guess.
I reserved two rooms, one for my family, and one for my sister's family. The shower curtain in my sister's room had semen on it. DISGUSTING. I took a picture, but I will spare you. They didn't discover it until the morning when they went to take a shower. Thankfully, nobody touched it...who knows what kind of diseases they'd get. The shower head and the bathtub spout in her room were very loose, and the water line where the toilet used to be was leaking water (someone had placed washcloths under it to catch the drips). The furnishings in this motel (both rooms) are old and low-quality. Additionally, while loading up the cars in the morning, another guest asked the owner/manager for a couple of towels, saying he only had two in his room (which he reserved for four people). Instead of providing the guest with a couple of towels, she proceeded to argue with him about how many towels were in the room...it was ridiculous. How does this place have decent reviews? In order for this motel to qualify as acceptable (bare minimum), they need to hire competent housekeeping. To qualify as welcoming/enjoyable, they need: competent housekeeping, updating furnishings (current furniture is old/cheap/worn)/remodel, new towels (current ones are thin and stained), competent maintenance worker, AND owners/management trained in providing quality customer service. A motel of his "quality" should charge $20/night, not $80+, or they should charge hourly rates. The owners need to invest in their property for the safety of their guests, to protect their property from damage (from water, insects, etc), and to have pride in the product they provide.

The location is great. the staff was very nice.
There was only a sheet and a bed spread. I don’t like to use the bed spreads in motels.
There was a group of very loud guest staying there the same night. They sat outside their rooms talking loud until 1:00am.

The room was stylish, the bed was comfortable, and staff went out of their way tp provide me with a coffee maker in my room. I felt safe walking my dog in the early morning and at night - well-lighted.
As with any older motel the walls and some fixtures were a bit worn. The sink drained slow. It didn't effect my stay since most of my awake time was not spent at the motel.

The lady at the desk was very nice! It was very clean!
It was an okay place for just an overnight and a place to lay your head. No luxuries or special comforts. No coffee pot in the room. It did have a fridge and microwave tho! It was very clean! A bit pricey for what you got!

Location is good.
No breakfast.
Room is vary old and not updated at all.
Check out time is 11AM. We went to White Sands National Park in the early morning on our check-out day and came back the hotel at 10AM. We wanted to take a shower before we check out. We found someone already got in our room before we came back and took away all the towels.

The location is good. I've stayed here before, three years ago and it was far better back then.
The room was filthy, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in three months. Hair in the shower and dirty towels. Also there were groups of people living in the motel , drug dealers. Loud music.

The whole facility was dirty inside and out. Day workers frequented the motel and drank outside our door for half the night.
We did not feel safe.

It was comfortable and the price was low. It was also in a good location.
It was loud. I had a hard time sleeping. It is on a busy road and since doors go right to the outside, you could hear others outside and the street. There was also a party going on.
5.0
Location was great . It had most of the basics kitchen appliances. Within walking distance to restaurants an stores an gasoline station. All in all, I would stay here again if another opportunity comes along.
The bathroom needs some repairs an the towels need to be replaced with new store bought ones. I would bring my own towels next time. It did not have a small coffee machine like most hotels do. Extra toilet paper in the bathroom would have been nice. They need new door knobs inside the the room an the key to the room jams an gets stuck an won't open the door on occasions. The parking lot is a bit of a tight squeeze.
