It meets the basic needs that I need in order to stay for my conference.

There was no breakfast in the location. I wish that they correct such misunderstanding since I thought there will be breakfast just to find out that they have it in the vending machine (which is nowhere near a real breakfast that I had with other hotels or hospices)

Decent hotel on US75 with piss poor wifi

Leaving the next morning... about 4am... it's convenient to get back on US75

The wifi... they ha d an issue with which way to list my name.... Then when I finally got online... the wifi connection was tested out at 2.2mb... the upload was like 1.2mb This is 2023 and this hotel in in McKinney, Texas... the wifi needs to be bumped up several notches so a customer can actually use it

Location

Not clean. First room we got had a used toothbrush on the kitchen counter, two yard garbage bags of clothes in cabinet under sink, there was leftover food in fridge, floor was so dirty things stuck to our socks and there were no towels. The fridge in the room they moved us to made a loud noise like a car horn each time the fridge tried to come on. Management told us to just unplug it and they would try to replace it. That didn’t happen.

For the price, it was a pleasant stay.

it was clean and well-taken care of.

I thought there was going to be a small couch, but instead there was a small table and two kitchen chairs. Also, I did not realize that I would have to pay $50 because Booking didn’t say anything about it.

awesome place to stay if you’re working anywhere near mckiney or even out in Sherman

clean, safe area, nice rooms, and some of the staff are very polite and helpful

one of the staff members rolled here eyes at me and gave me a heavy amount of attitude after politely trying to get my room key remade because it stopped working.

Spare moment stay

Available for the day that we needed to stay while in the area

Didn't have the appeal of a regular hotel with the large lobby and continental breakfast but it was perfect for someone passing by or just staying a few days on a visit

There were a couple of things that bothered me. When I was told there was a McDonald’s close by within walking distance from someone at the desk before I arrived. That unfortunately was not the case I had to spend extra money for Uber eats both for dinner and breakfast. The other thing was there were no dishes cups pans or anything else in the kitchen to cook with or eat on. Who has a kitchen in the room without anything to cook on or eat with. I doubt we will be staying there again

Bad service. Very poor receptionist. Zilch customer service. Not recommended

I reached out to the hotel to inform them that my father had passed and asked they kindly cancel my reservation at no cost. They did not. They took the full amount despite the fact that I was mourning a loved one who passed a night before I could make the trip. There is nothing as pathetic as a business with ethic. What is the morality of charging a full amount and not having a single sympathy under my circumstance. It is sad, unseemly, and unbecoming. The worse part is that the receptionist was rude and impudent. Money is not everything. It does not take anything to be human.
