Really the location was the primary thing I liked about the hotel.

It’s old and needs lots of renovation. Dingy. Literally no facilities. No food when they used to have a pre-Covid. It used to be a better place to stay. It showing at Sage and whoever the owners are on a keeping it up very well.

Disappointing

Had black stuff come up our sink several times aswell in the shower so we felt gross. aswell as someone unplugged our truck in the morning. on a negative temperature night and our truck ended up gelling. I was late to my next gig. because I used booking.com I was told I couldn't recieve any form of discount or refund which is absolutely garbage.

Could have been very pleasant

It would have been great and it was great the first night we where welcomed by a nice girls the first night so I’d say that night was good it was 2/14 came back the next night we waited at the front desk for at least 15 min then finally a very young non nice boy comes out and he has the nerve to say what what happen what’s the problem so we went else where that night ! Came back the next night hoping for the same girl as first night but no was him again and the place smelled so bad like poop mixed with old lady perfume but we had pre booked online . We liked the place felt comfortable minus the smell and you should fire the cocky boy FR

The front staff on 2/15/23 & 2/17/23 Not sure if the smell was the rugs or the boy having bathroom issues AGAIN we assume he was taking one the first night when we waited 15 min but we got no apology or explanation and he also tried to way over charge us the night we walked out

Great place to stay. Rooms are very nice size.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The room was a very nice size.. You had lots of space in the room.. Staff was very friendly and helpful when their was an error made with the type of room we reserved.

That and error occurred with the room we reserved. But a good solution was figured out.

Great location at a reasonable price at the time of our stay.

The location is right in the center of town with convenient parking.

Its time for a bit of an update to the room interiors! The lobby smelled of lysol.

Very good location, overall comfortable stay.

Excellent location. Rooms are very spacious. Complimentary breakfast as well as bottled waters and snacks awaiting in the room upon check in are appreciated. Good toiletries provided.

At the time we were there ( first 12/2021, then 1/2022 and finally summer, 2022), the property is not well maintained. Carpeting in the rooms is not being vacuumed properly. Rooms are dusty. It’s unpleasant to be on the room being aware of the above

Great location central to cafes, all walkable and safe bordering Clarkson University.

I liked the old charm and convenience to the university in which we were visiting. I also loved all the green space available. Pretty sunset.

Honestly the bed could have been better. Quite firm for my old bones.

It was a comfortable and well placed lodging that was ridiculously overpriced.

In the center of downtown. The staff was amiable, when they were available.

Breakfast- it was basically a pot of coffee and a box of pop tarts/ granola bars with a yogurt shake or over ripened banana on the side

Disappointed that this hotel has gone down hill.

Great that there was free parking and our room had a nice river view.

We were disappointed that the hotel hadn’t really been updated in more than 10 years ( which was our last stay). The room furniture was worn and over due for replacement. We were told that there was a breakfast but not at all what the webpage showed. They seem to be taking advantage of all the issues during the pandemic with “prepackaged “ items and minimal offerings. Should just omit the breakfast or go back to what is advertised.
