In the center of town, clean, very friendly, accommodating staff, beautiful decor.

Nice employees.
Arrived at 5pm. Room still being cleaned. No place to park a car. It’s on street parking for 2 hrs. Hotel has parking passes but all taken. Small rooms with noisy window AC units. Slopping ceiling I hit my head twice. No bathroom is my biggest complaint. For the stupid amount of money this costs your getting a $100 2 star room in any other city in the USA

Brilliant service and friendly staff. Leanne was amazing

Location. Ease of check out. Nice area, nice decor.
No complimentary coffee is a deal breaker for me. Check in at 4 not 3 as it says on the website so there were a lot of annoyed after-ferry people waiting to check in. You can hear people yawn in the next room - literally every sound.

The decor is very nice.
Staff was unorganized and curt. Not a welcoming atmosphere.

I felt it was a little expensive, but so nice. Would have liked the price to include breakfast.

The hotel is located centrally and has is beautifully appointed.
There was an utter lack of customer service from check in through check out. I can't even say that the customer service was bad because it was nonexistent. The staff was nearly invisible -- you rarely saw them and typically had to ask the rude bartender if he might deign to help you locate someone. When you actually spoke with a staff member they were cold and pretentious. For example, when I asked someone if they forgot to clean our room because we ran out of towels, she haughtily replied, "Did you request to have your room cleaned? We only do that by request." At $2000 a night I would expect the room to be cleaned. I would also expect people in the service industry at a luxe boutique hotel to well . . . actually understand service and exhibit a modicum of kindness toward their customers. Quite the contrary. We carried our own bags, made our own room keys, had to figure out where to park, (when I asked a staff member she said, "I have no idea, It's my first day" and walked off) were refused menus at the restaurant, snubbed by the bartender . . . I could go on forever. For perspective, I just spent 16 days in French Polynesia and we were treated so beautifully everywhere we went. We stayed in an overwater bungalow at a luxury hotel for half of what this room cost per night. Nantucket is a beautiful island and Faraway is lovely in terms of the courtyard and the decor, but my stay left me angry at being treated like a peasant by the absolute WORST staff in hotel history. This is the first negative hotel review I have ever left and I don't ask for anything at hotels, other than maybe fresh towels. I am not high maintenance; I simply expect actual service at a hotel. I may as well have stayed at an Air BnB.

The overall style of the hotel was beautiful but in the rooms it felt too packaged, like a Best Western. The bed was very comfortable. Free bike use was great! The food at dinner was pretty amazing but it came with a ridiculously high pricetag.
Some of the decor felt like it was impersonating genuineness- like HomeGoods. But it was very pretty overall. $$$ for small quarters.

the room was fine.
The bathroom sink was too tiny, no shelves or room to put toilet treats.
Also it was the location of the room, the room was above the kitchen and bar. On Saturday (our first night) they had a DJ playing music till 1am making our windows to vibrate as well as the floor. We couldn't sleep that night till 2am.
They never took any ownership.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The manager upgraded my room because during our conversation he learned it was my first time to Nantucket. The room was amazing and spotless!

We loved the location and the restaurant/bar outside area. The staff was incredible and always trying to do whatever they could to make us happy.
We stayed 2 nights and didn’t like our room the first night so they upgraded us to a much nicer room the 2nd night with no extra charge.

Staffs are amazing, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our interaction with each of them. Staffs do go above and beyond to make each stay at a faraway a memorable one.
The room however we were situated above the garage/laundry room and could hear noises from the washer and feel the vibrations from the dryer. Would not recommend That particular room.

so charming and clean ❤️

Centrally located downtown with easy walking to anywhere. Friendly and courteous staff, especially at coffee bar.
Our room (Manor 312) had a sloped ceiling with bed underneath which caused one person to crawl to get out without hitting head. Hit head anyway. Sloped ceiling made the room feel cramped and claustrophobic. Bathroom layout cramped having small shower door hit tiny sink. Had to use ironing board as shelf storage.
