The only thing I liked about the property was that there were a few close food locations around it.
It was literally the staff. Anyone that chooses to stay at the red roof inn at this location be aware of the gentleman that covers overnight. I will specify black people please be weary of this individual.

Not much. Only one iron for the entire hotel. Refrigerators in the hall way. No ambience what so ever.
Stated above.

Room was decent it was at least pretty clean and had new accessories like smart tv.
Staff was very rude both when calling a week prior to see about the possibility of early check in and when arriving to check in. The location was very obviously on the edge of the sketchy side of town, and had people partying and obviously dealing drugs out of the down stairs rooms. We were told our request for an adjoining room couldn't be met because it was 1st come 1st served, when I had made the booking a month in advance. Smart tvs werent programed properly so couldnt even enjoy that. Price was not worth it.

There wasn't any breakfast.
Attitude of A.M. manager. I made a comment about there being no coffee pot or hair dryer in the room. He answer was that those were saved for the primo rooms.

It was on the lake.
Floors need to be cleaned properly. Room had an odor of dog food. Toilet seats slides bad as you sit down. The door handle of the bathroom stuffed with paper towels to keep it from giggling. The computer chair was stained pretty badly. The smoke detector had a plastic bag wrapped around it. Neighbors were up and loud until 1am even after the desk clerk went up there 3 times. Then the desk clerk gave out the room numbers of the people complaining. Will not go back.

I like the new update. Looks so much better than before. The beds were comfy and the room was quiet..

I didn't like any part of the visit except that it had a king-size bed and a nice-sized TV.
This hotel was very disappointing. My husband and I had to go through three different rooms to find one that didn't smell like smoke as badly. In addition, my husband sleeps with a CPAP machine, and we were afraid that the smoke would enter his breathing device, which would not be good for his health. Also, the building smelled like smoke so badly that we were very afraid that we would get that smoke on our clothes. We had to acquire another iron because the first one wasn't functional (the rooms didn't have any irons or ironing boards). The restroom appeared to have received little to no cleaning. A prior guest's hair products were still in the shower. The room had three flies in it, and the drains were very filthy. Someone kept the door open from the outside (back of the building) all night. Because the door was left open all night, my husband and I had to place the dirty blanket below the door to prevent mice from entering our room. Outside, there was suspicious activity. The entire night, there was unusual activity going on outside of the hotel. Men and women are smoking outside and spacing out as they move about the parking lot. Because I was worried about what strange people might do to my vehicle, my husband and I had to make sure that our car was parked beneath a parking lot light next to the main street. Then they scanned my ID "for their records." I never had to give a hotel my driver's license so they could scan it into their system for their records, which was very suspicious. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

This place was just ok especially for the price. Thought the price was a bit high. Could have been cleaner but the staff was nice.
Could have been a bit cleaner.

The room was nice, the bed was a bit high but comfortable. (We are short people.)
I believe that the property had recently been purchased by Red Roof Inn, as the property was having remodeling work done to it. (April 2023)

Bathroom was upgraded
No ice machine, hallway floor was discussing, ground level rear door could be pulled open without a key card, no do not disturb hangers, no inside phone, no breakfast
If I could give it a zero I would.

The place is under construction no one should stay there it's doors should be closed until it's a functioning facility.
No ice machines, .no meals, no coffee station that function. The entire first floor is under construction I felt ashamed to even be there 😔
I really may fight for a refund that's how unhappy I am about this experience. I'm glad I was solo.

Super 8 cancelled our reservation we made through booking.com and then charged us a higher rate for our overnight stay. When we questioned the clerk he said "We hate Booking.com so we always cancel their reservations." We had no choice but to take th room at the higher rate because a festival was happening in town that weekend and everywhere else was sold out.
