Horrible

The room was hot when we arrived and it took 4 hours to cool, ice machine was broke, pillows were flat, no amenities in the room, roaches in the bathroom, used shampoo packet found in the shower, only 2 towels for 4 people, no breakfast available, maids kept bothering us, clerk stalked us upon leaving.

Customer Service is terrible!

The cleaning lady was always nice and pending of our necesity.

The first contact doing the check in was horrible. The ladys there never showed an smile or any courtesy to us. My feeling was like "I"m interrupting her time to do nothing" The second day and the third day was the same face with the same unfriendly service.

I'd choose this Super 8 for a longterm stay.

This hit all of my needs: Quiet, No traffic sounds, etc. I need a dark room for sleep and thankfully very little light comes in around the drapes or door. Decor is sophisticated. Loved the photos of Gainesville vs stock art. Bed very comfortable & shower very nice. Shopping down the street. Close to campus.

Bearing in mind there were few visits in town, Breakfast that morning was a little limited, ONLY because there were so few guests. EXCELLENT business decision. I respect that that.

For $75 I should have gotten a serviceable room and comfortable night’s sleep. This didn’t happen.

Convenient location. That’s about it.

The A/C kicks on and off every five minutes throughout the night, waking us up. The room was musty, bathroom smelled of cigarettes. Roaches in the room. Thin walls/ceilings. Neighbors walking at 4:30 am woke us up. Drapes don’t block the light streaming into the window. Not very clean in general. Beds were worn down, not supportive.

our choice to stay at this Super 8 which is located among a cluster of other hotels was not a good one.

The property was convenient and the room was clean. The cleaning staff and the evening desk clerk were very friendly. The parking lot was well lit.

The Booking.com rating was too high. I would rate it at a 5 or 6. By comparison to other properties we have stayed at, it was way over priced at $682 for a 2-night stay. The morning/day desk clerk was beyond unfriendly. She also had responsibility for the breakfast and apparently didn’t care about this task. The breakfast was only wrapped pastries and sausage biscuits and coffee urns were empty at 7AM. We were in Gainesville to attend our granddaughter’s college graduation, a high point in our lives. This was a low point.

Ok, I needed to be close cause my daughter was in the hospital. It served its purpose.

Coffee was very disappointing. We made sure and booked a room where breakfast was included and it was horrible. Only choices were prepackage bagels, muffins and you could make a waffle. Bananas were the only fruit. We don't eat bananas and the muffin and bagels were not good at all. Also it took FOREVER for the water to get hot. So a luke warm shower always sucks.

Salami Aroma

I liked how inexpensive the room was. It is conveniently located in town close to things I came to see.

The room smelled like lunch meat, salami is what immediately came to mind. Our room was near the back door which kept slamming shut and the neighbors were noisy. Also the room was by the washer and dryer and we heard dryer sounds and closing the lid sounds all night. The shower had pubes in it. The beds smell musty and kind of like feet.

Was given a hard time when asked for an extra towel. We booked with 3 people staying and we’re given 2 towels. Not a big deal but when I ask for another one don’t treat me like I am trying to steal a crappy towel.

Disappointing. Left tired and not rested.

The breakfast was a poor attempt of a continental breakfast.

The shower's hot water was Luke warm at best. One of the exits were tied shut by a towel, which I thought that ALL exits were supposed to be in working order. Noisy hallways from people coming from the game, I guess. I expected more for a hotel with a nightly rate of almost $250.
