Gute Unterkunft an guter Lage

Schöne Anlage mit grossem Zimmer. Wir erhielten beim Ckeck in eine Strandtasche und wiederauffüllbare Wasserflaschen für die Refill Station in der Lobby. Direkt neben der Lobby gibt es bis 10:00 Snacks und Drinks zum Frühstück (cornflakes, Äpfel, Schokodrink, Joghurt). Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, Lage gut in der Nähe von diversen Restaurants und Einkausmöglichkeiten.

Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das war das erste und einzige Zimmer in ganz Hawaii das beim Eintreten so richtig gemüffelt hat, wie man es sonst aus tropischeren Regionen kennt. Der Teppichboden verstärkt das noch.

L’emplacement en bord d’océan pour le lever de soleil. Cours de yoga les matins.

1) L’hôtel est en bord d’océan mais on nous a déconseillé de nous baigner. 2) « La literie n’est pas garantie » ! Nous avions réservé une chambre pour deux personnes avec un lit deux places mais à l’arrivée nous avons été placés dans une chambre avec deux lits séparés. Nous avons finalement été changé de chambre. 3) La chambre que nous avions sélectionné sur booking ne ressemblait en rien à celle qui nous a été attribué initialement sur place : mobilier sombre et literie marron 4) Peu d’intimité dans les chambres du RDC, les gens circulent sur la pelouse et passent devant votre chambre et seuls les rideaux dont nous disposions étaient occultants. Autrement dit, si nous voulions de l’intimité, nous étions dans le noir. 5) Le ménage mériterait d’être plus approfondi : traces de poussière, peluches et rouille / oxydation sur les lampes. 6) Le ménage n’est pas automatique, il faut le demander 24h a l’avance. Nous l’avions fait et il a été oublié … 7) Le petit déjeuné qui est proposé est extrêmement restraint et sous emballage.

Für ein paar Tag, als Ausflugspunkt, ein zentrales gutes Hotel!

Großes Zimmer ohne Schrank! Zentrales Hotel, auch zum einkaufen. Fahrradverleih. Frühstück, typisch Amerikanisch! Yoga jeden Morgen am Strand!

Wasser konnte man sich nur auffüllen wenn die Reception geöffnet war. Fahrräder sollten um 18.00 Uhr wieder abgegeben werden ob wohl die Reception länger besetzt war. Frühstück! Kein Badestrand!

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage, um den Preis für Kawaii echt super! Jederzeit wieder!

alles wae super! die anlage ist wunderschön, die Lage ist super! alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. schöner pool, man hört das meer rauschen und jeden tag sonnenaufgang Frühstück ist ok, besser als gar nichts jeden morgen gibt es Yoga, das war super! Gratis bike Verleih! Gutes steak restaurant auch direkt im Hotel mit live musik ich würde empfehlen, ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zu nehmen, da man dann direkt in den Garten kann und das ist angenehm!

Expected nothing, still got disappointed.

Location is great!

Room very strongly smelled like old damp carpet on an old damp wood. Units are recently renovated, but for some of the stuff they simply painted over old rust with a very thick layer of paint, and some of the stuff I am not sure they changed at all. Some paint fell off the ceiling outside revealing the black mold. All rooms technically have ocean view from a certain point, but it may be the one you never get to. Also there is no way to book specific beds configuration, and despite having king size bed on pictures, be ready to have two separate ones. By the way, I am still waiting for the call front desk promised me the next day to let me know if they could move us to a room with a king size bed. AC unit looks new-ish, but it barely cools the relatively small room down, and cherry on top: it’s light “shines” exactly where your head would be on a pillow of one of the twin beds, so if you are light sensitive good luck to you.

Superb

View from the balcony was amazing. I was able to watch sunrise from bed. Sunbeds in front of the sea were also awesome, you you can enjoy ocean and stars.

I stayed in the oceanfront room. It was nice, clean, and quiet. The sound of the ocean is the best. The location is great, the yoga class at 7 am is too early in my opinion. There was a water filter in the lobby, which was a good addition. Breakfast is to go, apples, snacks and yogurt. Bike rentals are free, but you can use them till 6 pm only.

Good experience overall

Nice views, all rooms facing the ocean, they have nice activities such as bike renting (bike trail right next to the location), sunrise yoga, pool & beach is super close.

They don't have space to keep ur bags at the location if u have a late flight off the island, u can however leave ur stuff in the lobby, continental breakfast is .. mmkey

BEST location hands down. you are within LESS than an hour drive to everything you are going to, doesn’t matter what it is. you are right next to an ABC, safe way and a bunch of great food locations. which you can use the bikes to get to if you’re down for that! or just hop in the car for a minute or 2. LOVE the bikes, took advantage of them a few times and the trail along the coast is awesome. we loved the pool and the fact that barely anyone is ever there, and if there is, and rarely children, after day activities we grabbed drinks from abc and relaxed by the pool! also great view from our room, right on the beach.

first we booked a king room and got two queens. the room is small. they only do room service upon request which is at this point silly. pandemic is over guys, hire your employees back. we are paying a lot of money and it adds a lot to a place when you come home to your beds made. grab and go breakfast started at 7 which was late! if you had to wake up to go anywhere (for active people who are hiking and trying to beat the crowds) you are most likely not going to be able to “grab” anything. which is silly because grab and go is minimal effort, just open it earlier to accommodate? AND THE WORST PART IS GRAB AND GO HAD ZERO COFFFEE. literally no one wants your below average packages muffins, we want coffee at least.

Rude staff …not worth the stay

The location is great, but that’s the only positive. I almost didn’t book this hotel because of some bad reviews. I wish I would have listened to them.

Horrible customer service from check in desk to the restaurant. My husband walked over to the restaurant to see if we needed reservations. They said we didn’t just come over and they would get us seated right away. He walked back to get me and 7 minutes later we were back at the stand with a 40 plus minute wait. They were not sympathetic or nice at all. They should have put our name on the list while he walked back to our room to get me if there was a wait. The bar is dining only. They won’t even serve you a drink while you wait. This honestly ruined our anniversary trip. I have never experienced such rude and poor service in my life. The front desk check in wasn’t nice either.

Affordable way to stay in a room with a gorgeous view.

The view from our room was great. I loved the balcony, fire pit, the pool, lounge chairs, bike offering, yoga, etc. We had a gorgeous view of sunrise from bed.

Breakfast was pretty bad. Also, they don't have a place to store luggage which is pretty absurd. I asked for a late check out and they were not able to support that, which is fine but then they don't have a place to store luggage. So there are many flights out of the island at 4pm and check-out is at 11. They let us leave our bags in the breakfast room. Also, the description of the rooms is confusing. I was confused about booking "ocean front" vs "ocean view". The image of our booking, was the image of the ground level ocean room. We were on the 3rd floor about 4 rooms back from the end of the building. So all were ocean view.. what makes it ocean front? It's not a big deal but I thought the ocean front was going to be more 'unique' to the ocean views. Also, there was blood stain on our pillows when we arrived.

A very nice place in Kauai

The ISO hotel is a very nice place to stay in Kauai. It's more quiet compared to the big resorts around and the room quality are very good.

The staff could be more friendly and the breakfast can be improved ;)

1. Location was nice right next to the beach with a beautiful courtyard/pool in the middle of the property. 2. You can grab and go breakfast items. 3. They offer free bike rentals but there's a huge con (read below). 4. Room was newly renovated so it looked relatively new. 5. Some of the front desk staff are very nice.

1. They don't hold your luggage in the lobby. We still had 10 hours before our flight after checkout. The front desk "manager" woman was DETERMINED to not help at all. She kept saying "sorry, but if you help you, we'd have to help everyone." They don't give a hoot about their customers. Super disappointing. Had I known about this I 100% would not have booked this hotel. Probably the only hotel in the world that doesn't offer this service. When she found out the next guest to the room wasn't going to make it, she saw dollar signs and offered us the extended checkout for $10 an hour, so it would cost at least 70 dollars to hold luggage??? "Thanks" for the offer but that's not even a logical option. 2. They don't clean your room until you request it. What's the point of having 'do not disturb' signs anyway?? 3. The blanket was weird and it was super scratchy and rough. Really uncomfortable. 4. Rooms are not being deep cleaned. The coffee maker had residue of coffee on the inside. The lamp on the inside had dust bunnies floating around. Also, random rust on nails/hangers/random objects in the room. Yuck. I think in a few more months, the room is going to look worn out. 5. I booked the oceanfront room as the photos clearly showed the first-floor room! It was not the case I got a room on the upper floors. There is no elevator in this hotel. Have fun lugging your luggage up multiple flights of stairs. 6. Seats on the rental bikes were TOO TALL. This problem is easily fixable with a simple 1 dollar tool needed to adjust the seat but THEY DID NOT HAVE IT FOR SOME REASON. We almost died wobbling on the bikes in the busy streets as we could not reach the floor, which also left us in physical pain. All for a problem that is easily mitigated. Wouldn't recommend the bikes unless you're around 6 feet.
