Book two queen beds and got one king bed for 3 people

Booked a 2 queen bed room for three people 5 months in advance. Called the week before arrival to confirm and let staff know we would arrive after midnight. We arrived at 1 am got to our room and there was only 1 king bed for 3 people. Took another 1.5 hours to get a cot for my 17 year old daughter to sleep on and more towels (there were only 2), but had to check out by 11 am we only got 6 hours of sleep. The manager tried to act like it was my fault, so I asked for a full refund, which we did receive. The next morning the staff told me 3 weeks before our stay the GM changed our room from 2 queens to one king with 3 people registered to stay. WHY??? I have no idea! Oh and my step daughter only got one thin blanket so we had to give her blankets off our bed. Would have asked for more, but didn't want to lose more sleep.

The staff was friendly, and it was convenient to where I needed to go.

Musty, dank, and not very clean. The room smelled strongly of mildew, and there was mold in the bathroom. It also vaguely smelled of cigarettes, as did other parts of the hotel. Parts of the wallpaper were peeling. The door didn’t shut properly, and the deadbolt didn’t look like it engaged well. Overall, the room and hotel needed a good cleaning and some TLC. Additionally, there were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot at late/early morning hours; loitering people in the parking lot don’t make other travelers feel safe.

Breakfast. The Walking trail is close by. Other conveniences are within walking distance.

Beds are high and the pillows are uncomfortable.

Very clean, didn't smell like cigarettes, everything worked well, and the people were very helpful and friendly.

The rates are pretty high for a Sunday night in such a small town when you're not here for business.

There is problem with homeless person hanging around the area. I was approached by two different individuals asking for a hand out and it made us feel extremely uncomfortable to go out of the building during our stay. We would go to our car right away to avoid being approached by these people.

Overall the stay was decent. Personable staff but outdated hotel.

The receptionist was very personable to a couple of moms traveling with a high school golf team. When we checked in she gave us the team room rate which was better than what we booked online — SCORE! She gave us advice on where to eat dinner at a late hour and let us leave "goodie bags" on the counter for the players. Breakfast was good for this type of hotel (small, a bit outdated).

The room was a bit dark. Seemed clean enough but my son said his room smelled very musty so he ended up staying in my room with me. The wood headboards were splattered with something that looked like water marks — we tried to clean them with Lysol wipes (I don't leave home without them) but it didn't come off. Hopefully they were marks from a furniture polish. The entrance to the parking lot was difficult to figure out as it was on a oneway street. The entrance door to the lobby was also not immediately visible, but it was in fact under the overhang.
