Quaint and Homely
Great in centre of town
Fabulous in the 2 room suite as we were self contained .
Tea and coffee provided
Shuttle to and from the rail depot
Trisha - very friendly and helpful
Amazing bakery and bfast
Small things - like need better curtains to keep light out and shower could be updated .

very clean, comfortable bed and sheets/towels, small touches and details for comfort (such as usb plug by nightstand, welcome note), easy check-in, great location on Main St
felt a bit abandoned w restaurant and bakery closed, which was the reason I booked as a solo traveler - having people around. I appreciate they’re extra cautious w the pandemic but the abandonment look w everything left ‘as is’ for 2y makes it loses its charm
pricey for what it is now (doesn’t feel traditional as it advertises), they should update the descriptions of the listing

the owner Trisha is incredible!

which was great ( Hatcher Pass & Musk Ox
Farm)! well
maintained authentic roadhouse!
no hair-dryer ( May be I didn’t find)

When expectations are lower than reality. And in fact we weren't expecting such a place. In reality it is much nicer than the photos we have seen on the internet. The room is large, it also has a sink. Upon our arrival, we found cinnamon sweets on the table: a really nice thought as well as excellent. At our booking, we knew about the shared bathroom, but as soon as we arrived, we discover the bathroom reserved for each room. All very clean and equipped with every comfort: shampoo, hairdryer, tablecloths of any size and in the morning I even made myself a hot tea since there was everything you need to do it. The place also has coin-operated washing machines. I'm really sorry I was only one night. Next time we return, we will definitely stay longer.

We loved everything about the accommodations and its history, but what made our stay in Talkeetna spectacular and special was the time we spent with the owner and her family. This was my first trip to Alaska and I hope to stay here again. Highly recommend!!!
Our stay at the Talkeetna Roadhouse was to short!

Great location. Very cute touches everywhere and the owner went out of her way to think of everything including individual tea/coffee sets in each rooms and very accessible for any questions. Left a little welcome cookie that was delicious! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there if I ever wander back through Talkeetna. Very COVID conscious

Charming, clean, fun, wonderful breakfast, social
Couldn't get ahold of anyone after 8:30 PM. A bit pricey for an older facility

We stayed in the Museum apartment. It was fun and comfortable but dated. It reminded us of our first apartment together 😊
Excellent adherence to COVID-19 precautions.
The couch was uncomfortable

Location was great. Room was small but comfortable. Due to covid we were assigned our own shared bathroom, which was nice. Cookies in the room when we arrived were a nice treat :)
Walls were a bit thin.

The cabin was cozy and well appointed. There was a large selection of dvds, coffee, tea. The host thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. She also made a wonderful breakfast for us on Christmas morning! This is a great place to stay!

Great location on main street. Quaint place to stay. Good wifi reception.
Check out. No-one was free to check us out so had to wait. Seemed to have a lack of staff.
