Everything accessible there. The soaking pool is wonderful. I just wish Ruby’s SPA offerings were more available for folks who are staying at the Lodge.
The bathrooms got a bit grungy after the later part of the afternoon

Hot tub was nice, Good food, clean rooms
All was great, but didn't like the black lives matter sign located in the guest office. (remove it)
Black Lives Matter is a terrorist organization that uses race as a weapon against communities across the United States.

The old historic building is extremely charming and has lots of stories to tell. Super fun walking around on the property and checking out all of the area. It is soaking pool is top notch!
If you are over 65 and under 15 this is a great place to stay but anything in between you are screwed. We checked in at 8 PM not realizing that the entire place shut down around 11 PM. You can’t hang out outside past 10 PM the bars close at 11 AM and there are not any TVs in the rooms so we literally sat in our room for the rest of the night playing cards. I know they are trying to keep a Historic vibe going throughout the building but there needs to be air conditioning and a TV in each room for that price. There also needs to be at least one bar that stays open till at least midnight or 1 AM for all adults that want to stay up and enjoy a drink past bedtime. You are pretty much forced to go to bed between 10 and 11 PM which totally sucks if you are trying to have a good time with your friends or your partner. I was disappointed that it was so costly and yeah we had nothing to do but hang out at our room. The pillows were terrible. They need to have plush multiple pillows so that people can be ultra comfortable in the beds. For the type of accommodation this was it should be about $100 less per room. I will definitely never stay here again but I will happily visit during the day.

The overall atmosphere. I really enjoy the ambiance, the art, and the backstory of Edgefield.
The beds could be more comfortable.

Everything was so calm and relaxing. Soaking tub, the spa and the outdoor patios were so nice. Can't wait to be back!
Wish I could have had a private bathroom.

I liked pool spa area....Gardens and grounds.
I was in a room that was so noisy til 10pm, a screaming child outside my window at dining porch, so loud, next to stairway, maintenance people super loud etc, no sleep.

Property grounds were beautiful!
Sharing a common bathroom was unusual but it fit with this period hotel.

Breakfast was amazing even though it was about 30 mins late. Also, my server for dinner was wonderful. Roger who was in the wine tasting room was amzing!
THE NOISE!! If you plan on getting "a good nights rest," don't stay here. I complained multiple times for the front desk to do something about the 3 separate rooms I was sandwiched in-between: the party'ers, the couple fighting, and the 3rd room who had probably 3 or 4 revolving people coming and going every 15 min's slamming doors then running down the hallway. I "may" have slept 3 hours. Nightmare. I also wished the pool temp had been warmer. Bathrooms are a bummer when they get clogged up. First time here, lesson learned.
