Great overall, would definitely come back but we would bring pillows next time

Everything was great: Lakeview, location, etc.

The pillows are very rough and did not allow us to have a good nights sleep

I had a room and my daughter had a room air conditioning didn’t work well in either room it would get down 75 then shut

Although quaint and comfortable the value for the stay was not good at all.

The location was beautiful. Unfortunately, it was very cold and windy that day/night, but I know that nothing could have been done with that.

The value was not very good. The room although comfortable and clean was very outdated. Also, the website as well as the name of the Inn states "Cafe" which there was not. That was one of the main reasons we chose this location so we would not have to leave the area to eat. I could have stayed in a 4-5 star hotel with more amenities for the same price.

Beautiful views, not a great stay.

We were visiting family in St. Cloud and it was very conveniently located for us.

The room smelled like bleach when we got in, the rooms could use some updating.

To my daughters in the Orlando area during the Christmas holiday. Clean spot with a bed worked fine. Good price for a bed with water view at the back of the hotel. Coffee supply bring your own creamer..

Review of Lakeside Inn and Cafe

This motel is older but is very well maintained. It's right on Alligator Lake with a long pier and plenty of boat slips. They also have a covered pavilion with several picnic tables. The views are unbelievable and, if you're looking for a relaxing spot to just hang out, this is a great option!

It is an older property, so don't expect all the amenities you would get in an upscale hotel. It could really use some updating but, as I said, the owners really do take a lot of pride in the property and it shows. The grounds are meticulously maintained and at night all of the trees are wrapped in lights. A very nice touch. Also, there really aren't any options in the area for dining out, so you'll have a little bit of a drive to find something.

The staff called to make sure I was still arriving so they could make sure that someone would be in the office. The room was very clean. The staff had turned on the air so is comfortable when I arrived.

I didn't find anything that I was dissatisfied with.

The room was very cozy, the living area was smaller than I thought. I think some shelves over the cooking area and a sink would be helpful. While we were there, the manager was having trees cut down so it was a little nosy. The manager was very apologetic and was willing to provide us with another room at no charge during the day because one of the guests worked nights. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer and hard working staff. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

This location is so old Florida beautiful! Located right on a lovely lake. It is not a fancy shiny box chain hotel, but a precious “mom & pop” place with its own charm.

I loved the peacefulness and the sunsets over the lake. I have already booked my next stay.

It's in a great location on Alligator Lake with picturesque landscaping. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant.

There is no cafe. There is no fitness center or pool like a typical hotel, but there is a walking trail in a wildlife preserve nearby.

the first impression was not good. The place looks old and rusty. But changed my mind after spending the night. The place is clean and all amenities are functional. The bed was also very comfortable

It needs some remodeling. the furnitures are really old
