Staff and property
Everything was amazing

Clean rooms, breakfast was delicious, staff was very accommodating and friendly, property was close to the beach and decorated beautifully for the holidays.
Wifi wouldn’t connect since we were on the third floor. Room temperature fluctuated all throughout night.

Everything was fantastic, breakfast was awesome everyday!
Tea and sweets was great as was the wine with cheese plate. We really enjoyed the hominess of Angel of the sea!! This will be a annual trip for us from now on!

Staff was incredibly kind and service was phenomenal.

I liked the Victorian decor. Breakfast options and offerings were good. I enjoyed tea and sweets time. It was close to the beach. Staff was friendly.
The bath tub was challenging to get in and out of. The plumbing was old and I had difficulty turning it off hard enough to stop dripping. Difficult to shower with curtains sticking to body.

outstanding staff and food...
sorry nothing to say all great

Hands-down this is the best B&B, we have ever stayed at. We were treated like royalty! Never before have we gotten not only breakfast, but also afternoon tea and sweets, and then wine and cheese. This was above, and beyond what we expected. This is a fabulous place!

Perfect stay!

Clean as a whistle, staff was great, loved the tea in the afternoon and the wine / cheese in late afternoon.
breakfast was so-so. I wanted eggs but I’m not a fan of poached and eggs Benedict was the only egg dish offered. The room was too warm too.

Friendly staff. Very good breakfast, afternoon tea.

We loved our room, the balcony, the view, the nice staff, and the relaxed atmosphere.
The food could be a bit better - baked goods (muffins), pancakes, and Belgian waffles were all underdone. On subsequent days, we asked for the pancake or waffle to be crispier which improved the pancake but not so much the waffle.

MEALS WERE DELICIOUS

The breakfast was great. It is walking distance to the beach. They provided beach chairs and umbrellas for use which was nice. They also provided bicycles for use. Overall the staff was pleasant and helpful.
The room was on the 3rd floor and was not expected. It was not mentioned when we booked the room or we wouldn't have stayed there. The steps were steep and the room was small. We didn't like the old shower. It is "cute" and part of the Victorian charm but the clingy shower curtain is terrible. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. We were also there as they were painting the outside and doing maintenance.

A great experience...perfect location, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast and treats, and nice extras.
Our room was extremely cramped for paying for queen size room

The location was fantastic and the views from the various decks did not disappoint. The breakfast, tea time, and wine/cheese were appreciated.
The buildings are well overdue for maintenance which is happening now. However, little things like broken furniture, leaves on the porches, a painter's ladder sitting out front for four days not being used, were annoying. Except for the outside porches, there are really no inside accommodations to lounge in. Some of the staff were well trained while others were not. Finally, they need to mix up the cheese plate offering. It was the same thing five days in a row.

I loved the location. It is right across from the ocean. I just had a comfortable feeling from the time I got there till I left. Cape May is my favorite place to go and Angel. By the Sea was a surprise because I didn’t even know it was there. We were very happy where we use to stay. But I’m so happy I saw your advertisement on Facebook. Now you are our favorite place.
We had to stay in a mini queen room that was very small. I didn’t book early enough so that’s all they had. I wasn’t happy with the room . It was very small and the sink was not in the bathroom. Which I do not like. We had to be moved into a larger room the last night be cause of a problem In our room. It was king size bed , if bathroom and porch. Loved it. But I would not let the smaller room keep me from. Coming again. Just would not take a
Mini Queen. Everything else was wonderful. Thank you Angel by the Sea. Diane DiGregorio

The location can’t be any better. Right across from the beach. You can easily bike anywhere. Washington Street Mall is just a short bike ride too. Just gorgeous everywhere you look. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Yea and desserts at 4:30 and then wine and cheese/fruit after that is amazing and such an extra.
I hate even saying because it was such a wonderful extra but bikes and beach stuff could use some upkeep.

beautiful property, excellent staff, excellent food
Room on first floor, next to kitchen. Chef starts work at 6am. This was my day to sleeep in, and couldn't.
