The location is great. Since it is inside the park, you avoid the line at the entrance.
The owner responded quickly to the problem with the shower head. Unfortunately, it took several days to get it fixed.

Its location's really good. The place is spacious and comfy. The kitchen has everything we need. WIFI was okay, good for emails and maps.
Rooms could be cleaned better. Found hair on the bedsheet.

Location was excellent, halfway between Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove, with good access to Glacier point.
The inside of the property was comfortable, new carpet throughout, the kitchen was a bit tired but well equipped.
It was spacious for the 2 of us, but the indoor area would be a squeeze for the 6 people it claims to accommodate.
The exterior is definitely in need of some maintenance, it’s shabby and the outside BBQ area hadn’t been cleaned at all.
We were also charged twice for the stay, when we asked for a refund for the second charge the company refunded us in USD, leaving us £170 out of pocket, the response was that the exchange rate is not their problem, we are currently having to raise it as an issue through booking.com.

Clean and spacious accommodation, good location, everything we needed. Owners are very friendly.

Kindly warn every one who is considering about staying here: DON’T BOOK IT.
This is the WORST experience I have ever had. I have been using booing.com for many years while I’ve never seen a rude manager like Vance W. before.
I arrived at the property at 10pm (Their check in instruction told me I can checking in between 16:00 and 0:00). The room was horribly messy and obviously the cleaning service didn’t get the room ready for me. I took pictures of the room and sent to them. I said I won’t stay in this room and requested refund. Well, obviously they rejected it. What is even worse, they blamed me for arriving late, not calling them and not waiting for them. Man, think about this, the place is in the Yosemite Valley. How can I have service on my phone? And why is it my fault for not noticing the telephone? Actually, even their WI-FI barely worked and it was super slow. Also imagine that in the dark night, when you enter a messy room where it looks like there is someone living here, how dare you stay here for a long time? I even doubted myself that if I was at the wrong place. It is not funny if I just “broke” into someone’s place. Since I don’t wanna stay in the middle of nowhere with cell phone service shut down, I decided to leave. It therefore took me 7 extra hours to drive back home. After I regained my service, I called their manager, who picked up the phone rudely and continued to blame me for not calling them, which is nonsense. His mouth was full of dirty words when I asked for refund.
I am still talking with Booking.com’s customer service and I still don’t know if I can get fully compensated.

I liked the location, conveniently inside Yosemite Park.
A musky smell and the lack of eating utensils.

it was a really bad experience. unit was not cleaned, toilet flush was not working. there was a power outage.

The place itself was cozy and warm and we enjoyed our stay there. The location is pretty good in winter it took us about 40 min to drive to the valley.
We stayed at Yosemite Hideaway unit A at the end of January. It was very difficult to get to the unit as there are three levels of stairs to climb that were completely covered with frozen snow and ice. We were 4 people (the unit can accommodate up to 6), but there were only 5 plates, 2 spoons and 3 forks, which made it difficult to dine together as we didn't have enough cutlery. The place could also use some deep cleaning the ventilators were very dusty and the sheets had some permanent looking stains.

Very convenient location. It is literally inside the Yosemite. Also, the host is really on top of email/messages, which is really impressive. She replied to my questions/request in seconds.
The dryer does not work well, but it is not a big concern for us.

location was outstanding, cozy, inviting
can use some updating
3.9
Everything, almost.
Too many stairs up to get to the door.
3.9
Bathrooms have mold and were extremely small
dirt and insects and cobwebs inside
nothing to clean porch or grill with and thus unusable

Except for the need of a paint job, the facilities were clean & comfortable.
The hosts (esp the man) were incredibly rude & condescending which all started when I dared to ask for the door code. It was our first time in Yosemite & I didn’t realize that we wouldn’t have WiFi when we arrived. Otherwise I would’ve taken a screen shot of the info. I was chastised like a kid for not bringing the info with me.
First of all, I’m the renter who has spent a lot of money for the place, so why not just give the info when I asked & perhaps apologize for not including instructions that there’s no WiFi to bring the info with us? Too much info is better than not enough info.
Also, basic info such as where grocery stores are & the checkout process were not initially provided & it was like pulling teeth to get it. Even then, the info wasn’t adequate. For example, I was informed that grocery stores were “on our way”. They’re not. would’ve been helpful to explain in what town(s) they were located but instead we drove all the way up the mountain only to have to turn around to get to an area that had WiFi (to get door code) & to get groceries. It was too dark to return to the cabin that night so I ended up spending over $1k for rooms at the lodge our first night. Again, I was made to feel like I was in the wrong by the renters. There was no compassion or understanding at all…just the opposite.

Great location - 30 min drive to Yosemite Village + v scenic
Lots of space - comfortable for a group of 5
Comfortable - heating was excellent so always felt cozy
The WiFi wasn’t great so although the property had a smart TV we weren’t able to use it
The upstairs shower was broken so the whole group had to use the downstairs shower
Some of the lights were not working
When we had a power outage, we rang the owners but they just told us to the ring the electricity company which took a long time because we didn’t have an account with them.

The kitchen was well equipped. It had a functional washer and dryer with detergent and bounce sheets available for use. The heating system was working perfectly for winter. The location was close to the places we wanted to visit. The host responded very quickly to our emails and it was nice to have a landline since the signal was spotty. The internet connection does not work during snowy days. It works a little bit better during sunny days, but still very slow.
We arrived on a snow day, so everything was covered with ice including the stairs. Luckily plenty of shovels were provided by the rental.
Unfortunately their contracted cleaning staff never came so the place was not cleaned prior to our stay. We had to disinfect everything by ourselves and wash all the blankets+towels. One of the mattresses was super comfortable. But the other two we had to flip over since they were not firm enough in the middle.
Note: the unit below is also being rented so make sure to leave enough space in the parking lot for another car. The dumpster was a little bit far and it was full as well. We had to throw the trash at another dumpster that was close by. Probably throw the trash in the morning since it can be dangerous going alone at night when it is snowing. If staying here during winter, make sure you have tire chains or all season type of tires. They are required to get to this rental.

A wonderful stay in the heart of the pine forests of Yosemite. Whilst surrounded by nature, though we never felt isolated with a number of rentals along the road in Yosemite West. Less than 30 min drive to both Glacier point and Yosemite Valley. Comfortable, spacious and very well appointed accommodation. Even though the outside looked a little rustic on approach, all the inside seemed recently renovated. Modern and very well appointed kitchen and bathrooms, very comfortable beds. The upstairs master bedroom is huge, 2 of the bedrooms with balconies / decks too. Particularly loved the private outdoor dinning terrace which we could light up at night, made for a wonderful evening family dining experience surrounded by the forest and nature after a big days hiking. Would definitely stay here again.
It was difficult to reach the host when there was a power outage to the whole area on the 3rd morning of our stay. We left a message to the local servicer as requested, and asked for a call back which we never received. That said, the below apartment in the same building (Yosemite Hideout B) did manage to make contact and we happened to run into them and got the update when power would be resumed. Would have been nice for the call back though. One of our party slipped up on a loose wooden step on the outside stairway of the building. I will say he was tired from a days hiking and probably carrying too many bags, so I'm not placing any blame on the property, but just a note to secure the wobbly step please (2nd step whilst going up the top flight).

The location
1-PRIVACY- we were woken by an unannounced visit on Wednesday morning from Lowe’s to measure the blinds. Then Wednesday afternoon another person literally let themselves in unannounced. My teenage so was home doing schoolwork and a man used the key code to walk in. He told my son that he thought we had been notified that he was coming by to measure the carpet.
2-DIRTY- this property is so in need of a deep cleaning. There is grime ground into the flooring in the kitchen. The vent in the kitchen is caked with filth.
3-OUTDATED- I guess for the price I thought this would be updated. It is very old 80s style pink tile in the bathrooms. The cabinets are very cheap and some don’t close properly.
4-WORN OUT- the couch is uncomfortable and broken down. The carpets are worn out, half the lights work, no plug for bathtub, garbage can lid is not attached to the can, the coffee pot lid is also busted.
Great location just thought for this price they would pay for professional cleaning, keep up with maintenance and maybe schedule contractors to come on vacant days or at least let the renter know a person will be walking on in.

Had hard time to figure out how to use the dish washing machine. It end up hand washed all the dishes.
Great location and quite neighborhood.

Place is really cool... Place had everything we needed, from kitchen utensils to bathroom towels, washer and dryer. Coffee they provided was delicious. I like the fact that you have to grind your coffee. I even took a picture of the coffee company so I can order my own. Overall Very comfortable, my familia enjoyed the stay. Looking forward to next year.

The location inside Yosemite National Park was wonderful. It is on a quiet street and the house is clean with lots of nice amenities. There was even a beautiful arrangement of wildflowers and pine boughs on the picnic table on the deck! The kitchen had the equipment we needed to do our own cooking and we enjoyed using the grill. The deck was fantastic to sit on after dinner and watch the stars come out.
The mattresses felt a bit lumpy. The week we stayed the weather was very hot and didn’t cool off enough at night to be comfortable. There were fans but no A/C and no screens on the upstairs windows so bugs would come in at night.

The distance to Yosemite tunnel view was just perfect.
It’s was very quiet place to stay.
Inside the house was all clean.
It has its own laundry spot.
It’s supposed to have WiFi, they even gave me a password but guess what there was no internet at all. I call the owner( that’s what I think he was). Mr Vance was very polite, but he said someone was supposed to fix it but it was too far to get there.
They should have tell me that before I pay for everything.
One more thing they should clean the patio more often there was a lot of spiderwebs all over it. There was a lot of debris from the trees.
