It was a great location to the athletic center/gym. My son plays on the Swarthmore basketball team. The basketball team had a game. The basketball team banquet was at the Swarthmore Inn, so that was great location for my family and me. We also ate all our meals at the Inn. It was a great experience.

Huge room, well appointed. Location couldn't be more convenient to campus AND to town and public transportation.

Quiet. Nice town nearby.

The hotel was bright and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Our room, while clean and comfortable, was right in front of the ice machine (which is quite loud). I suppose not much can be done about that. The beds were a bit on the soft side, but still comfortable. The room was a bit dark.

The convenience of being on-site for an event.

My room key was given to a stranger who came into my room and took a nap in one of the beds when I was out. This person made herself at home, drinking from cups in the room, using the bathroom, etc. All of my belongings were in the room at the time. When I returned back to my room the person was not in it, but I could see that someone had been in my room. I notified staff who got her out of my room, but I was not compensated nor given a new room. I felt that I should have been reimbursed the cost of the room. They said they couldn't do that because it was a Booking.com room. So going through Booking.com was not an asset for me.
