First off, the is a Motel 6. Not sure why the title in the hotel listings doesn't say that. There is a wide variation in the quality of Motel 6 properties and this is definitely one of the good ones. The best part of the stay was encountering truly nice staff at check-in. People really do make a difference and kindness counts for a lot. The person in charge, Chris?, was more than willing to be sure I had the right room to accommodate my needs, and a place right by my room to park (in addition to pointing out I could also use the handicap 'blue' space since I had a placard.) The location in Old Town Tustin is great. There are nearby places to eat and shop and Old Town has a nice feel to it. The enclosed layout of the property also creates a sense of safety for guests and their vehicles. The room was very clean (has LVP flooring instead of carpet which is a great feature) and there are ample outlets and lights, along with a large TV and good air conditioning. Would definitely recommend to those who want something simple and less costly than fancy high-rise hotels in this part of Orange County.
There were a few MINOR repairs needed to the room I occupied. Though it is classified as accessible (which it definitely is overall), the toilet is too low to meet ADA standards. The upper showerhead holder was broken, and the deadbolt would not seat in the door jamb (probably a little out of alignment), but there is also an additional safety latch that can be deployed and prevents the door from opening.

??? No breakfast…clean
To start…entering the room it was clean and well kept…the neighbors were noisy but did stop at 1030…main thing that bugged me was there wasn’t any shampoo etc and no tissue….come on…for the price we paid should have had those items…this is the second motel 6 that is doing this???? And I guess there isn’t anymore checking the room to see if anything is needed???? The grounds man needs to do a much better job of keeping the grounds kept up…remember…it’s the little things that make or break a business

Manager Kris was very kind, friendly, helpful and professional. Also warm-hearted person to talk with. The male cleaning staff (Sorry I didn't ask his name) was friendly and kind as well. Felt very safe by seeing all nice and kind staff around. Location is convenient to walk around to see the old town such as nice cafes, grocery stores, 99 cents shop, interesting stores and garden/ flower shop. The flea market was on Sunday during my stay, which was fun for me. Highly recommended to Japanese tourists who enjoy walking around. Need to take the hair dryer with you if you need. Microwave was convenient because water can be warmed up for tea even though there was no electric kettle there. The bathtub is available, so it helped my tired body after the long flight. I would love to come back.
Even though I used the facility just like always, I was praised as clean-user. I was very shocked to know that there are people who mess the room and even damage the facility during their stay. People should pay some respect to the hotel staff as human-bing when using the room without making them feel disgusted when they clean the rooms.
It would be nice if the hair dryer can be borrowed upon request even though the deposit is required.

Me gusto la cercania que tenía para el trámite que tuve que hacer en LAX, y estaba limpio y organizado.
No me gusto que no hicieron servicio a la habitación y para conseguir la clave del internet tuve que ir a recepción.

We liked the room overall, the location and the price, and especially the friendly and helpful staff
The toilet which had leak from the cistern which was fixed. The toilet kept partly using on its own including through the night. There was a cockroach but disappeared after the room was sprayed and the room daily cleaned.
