We loved absolutely everything. The rooms were amazingly quiet, breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean and well kept.
There is not much within walking distance, but the location was very quiet, which was nice

Nice atmosphere, great library, Christmas decorations were perfect. Have a question, just ask the host!!
I didn’t dislike anything, but a mini fridge in the suite would be nice. Regular “unflavored” coffee upstairs would also be a plus. Thanks Antonio!!

What a special breakfast the Empress staff provided. They arranged it for a time that worked for me. I highly recommend you come see The Empress. It’s more than a place to stay; it’s an experience!

Breakfast was server as if I was royalty. The warm biscuits taste as if they were made from scratch. Just like my grandma use to make. Also served with creamy scrabbled eggs and perfectly made gravy. Location is a typical downtown area but felt safe. The house is unbelievably perfect and maintained so well its hard to believe it was from the 1800’s. House was very clean and makes you feel so special. Even the gardens are very well planned and well kept. The whole place in magical and the owner is a delight to converse with. Best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed!! I would definately go back if in the area.
Nothing/ It’s perfect and definitely a sight to see for everyone.

Breakfast was good, but not my choice. In fact no choice offered. Room was well equipped for a bedroom but really small, maybe 250 s/f. Interesting 19th century house in need of tlc.
Operator aloof and supercilious. Basically not a value for the $. $316 all in , and my space turned out to be in the attic over the garage. These guys are done with this property and ready to move on . Please do.

the Empress Is quite simply the most beautiful B and B we have ever stayed in, and we travel a lot! The Victorian home is just lovely, inside and out, with a beautiful little garden in back if you happen to be traveling with a furry pet, like we were. if you are a lover of stately old homes, this is the place for you; it has been restored and is filled with the most gorgeous of antiques. We had delicious breakfast served on fine China and crystal. Antonio gave us a tour of the entire home, which was a treat. The beds are very comfy, there are tons of amenities, and you're very near some great little restaurants. I managed to leave my sleeping pillow in the room, and they packaged it up and sent it come to me! overall, such a great experience, we will definitely be back!!

The Empress is very centrally located for all that Little Rock has to offer. The home has been beautifully restored and the wood work and the furnishings have been lovingly restored. The room has all the comforts you expect with an old world beauty. Antonio the owner and Keith are such gracious hosts that make themselves available should a need arise. The morning breakfast was delicious with that added touch of fine China and silverware. I was a lone traveler and felt very secure. Thank you for a great weekend.

Loved the property
Mattress was old and lumpy but exceptional place to stay:))

Beautiful. Super clean. Good shower. Owner took us on an extensive tour of the property and gave all the history. It was wonderful. They had champagne glasses and ice bucket for our New Year’s Eve toast. For breakfast, we could choose one of the tables dotted around in the different rooms:egg/sausage casserole, yoghurt, fruit, and muffin. It was plenty.
No complaints at all.

The history in every corner! I’m amazed of how it made me feel like I lived in 18th century! That is something that you don’t and won’t experience in hotels.

This Victorian house has been restored to something close to its original grandeur with impeccable taste. It is a labor of love and the hosts will be happy to regale you with stories about the house and its previous inhabitants. The room we occupied, bathroom included, was clean and the bed was comfortable. In the morning, the breakfast was delicious and it was served with great charm and hospitality.
