Dinner was good. Staff in dining room was excellent. Went above
We were pleased. Even other guests were very friendly
4.2
Nicely and comfortably rustic, but didn’t lack modern conveniences.
Pets should be limited to a different area. A dog was in the next room and was occasionally noisy.
4.2
Beautiful location, room had views of the river.
The TV in room was huge but picture was bad..
4.2
Location was great. Great hiking all throughout the park. Nice pool with a good hot tub as well.
The AC in the room we were in was not working properly. Even though the temp was in the mid 50's outside the interior hallways of the facility were set to 78 and the room we were in felt just as hot. There was a thermostat in our room and the blower worked but when set to AC it just blew out luke warm air. Made for two bad nights of sleeping.
4.2
The location was really nice, and the food was good at the restaurant.
The bed was hard. Has to be one of the worst 2 nights sleep. It was supposed to be a Queen, but it was more like a full. The rest of the room was nice with the exceptions of cobwebs on the ceiling and curtains.

I grew up in the area and thus never had a reason to stay at Clifty Inn during my childhood. Returning for a family event, I knew I wanted to check it out. We got a riverview room which granted my children an amazing view to wake up to and the value and size of the room was perfect. Would love to stay here again!
There were some dents and dings to the wall behind the rocking chair which from experience just comes with having a rocking chair with children. Nothing I didn't like, but some people may think it devalues the room.

Location is excellent! The breakfast was awesome and staff and waitress were attentive!
No complaints!
4.2
Disappointed in having a buffet only. A little pricey for an early meal. I don't eat much for breakfas, so I was very disappointed. Next day I could order from menu and I was much happier.
4.2
Very clean and comfortable! The room was spacious, with a beautiful view. The common areas had plenty of cozy spots to gather and enjoy. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our meal at the restaurant was delicious, and service was excellent.

View - staff -room
The restaurant inside the Inn.
Buffet was a bit high price for the value and variety of food. And breakfast was only available for buffet which had several items. A lot of it was cold.
Great stay - we just know to try something different.

Pool! Food, comfy room with great view.
4.2
Staff friendly.
No heat with outdoor temperature of 40 degrees. The bathroom was full of scratches, stain s on vanity. Chips n tub. No grab bars for safety.

The dining room was spacious. The wait staff was very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean.
The food was average for the price.
4.2
Terrible. Cold fppd pn buffet for breakfasr and overpriced.
Was not asked if steps were a problem. They are. Had to relocate no elevator. Felt unsafe in bathtub. Mo grab bars. Nowhere to hang clothes in bzthroom while showering.

The staff was super friendly and it had many doors so you didn’t have to walk to far to your room. It had great views
We were booked on the older side of the hotel(even tho pics are of the new part) and it was a little dirty, carpets could be replaced and showers could be nicer.

incredible view and it’s peaceful.

Beautiful lodge very comfortable

We had a riverview room and the view did not disappoint. It was quiet and cozy. Food at restaurant was pretty good. Front desk gals were amazingly helpful and nice.
Toilet seat was broken into. Did notify staff when we checked out. Restaurant staff appeared to be very stressed and not happy.
4.2
The park is so pretty.
The rooms and pool need updating. Needed more toilet paper from the very beginning of our stay.
4.2
The park and the location was nice
Broken A/C called the front desk and they said you can come to the front desk and get a fan. The freezer in the room also did not work, I put some ice cream in it and it was melted the next day. And the bathroom sink did not work. I told the front desk attendant about the problems when I checked out, she said to call for the manager on the following business day. I called and talked to the manager and she told me she would call me back and make an adjustment to my credit card. She never called me back, I called back the next day and left a message to no avail. The manager lied, I ended paying full price.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had bought wine after a wine tasting and did not have a wine glass in the room. A staff member in the restaurant let me borrow one from the kitchen.
The cost of meals was prohibitive. My sister and I had the soup and salad bar on our first night there, and the food was delicious and the cost reasonable. We also got a box lunch one day when we were trail walking. That, too, was good and economical. However, breakfast and dinner was rather costly. If I stay there again, I will take breakfast and lunch foods.

The restaurant food wasn’t that great and very expensive!

We don't know what happened or rather how we got sick, but after having an evening meal at the Inn, two of our party got very sick. The younger member recovered within 24 hrs. Older member took two days to recover. Fever, intestinal distress, throwing up, couldn't sleep through night.
4.2
Loved the view from our room.
It was noisy all night with the heating system coming on and off. When we dined for dinner, our waitress wasn't focused and we never did get rolls with our dinner. Our morning waitress was great, friendly and on the ball!!!
4.2
location, views from the room, general ambiance
Heat in room did not work the first night.
4.2
Lovely park, the historic area of town was nice. The inn is pretty and the public areas well-kept.
Thermostat in room was broken; we had to turn off the heat or it was over 80 degrees in the room. The tub was slippery, even with the rubber mat, and there were no handles to get in/out of tub. When I mentioned this to the desk staff, saying my 90-year-old mother slipped and had bruising, there was no apology or concern...just an offhand "you could have asked for handles or the handicapped room". Continental breakfast was advertised but not available; breakfast offered was over $18.

I wish we had been able to order food from a menu.
Some food on the buffet was overcooked.

NOTHING. WE COULDNT EVEN STAY THE NIGHT, IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE MY FAMILY HAS EVER HAD!!!!!
Everything, dinner was horrible the room was freezing cold and the thermostat must be a fake bc it doesn't work. No towels in the bathroom $99.36 for a dinner buffet for 4 and 2 drank water. So tell me how that's possible. The pool was slimy. We are all sick to our stomach we left and had to feed our kids again after paying almost $100 to eat food we could've made better at home. It was ridiculous.

The whole building and the history was astonishing!!! the views 😭😭😭 I wish I would never have to leave!!
4.2
Everything! The staff was great, the indoor pool is great, food is absolutely wonderful. Their salad bar and hot bar is so good! Our room was super clean, tons of pillows and the bed was very comfy. We got a balcony room and even being from this area, that view is just hard to beat. Our 2 boys, ages 11 and 15, absolutely loved it.

About everything
!The room was warm the first night, but they gave us a fan and we opened the window and was very comfortable. Staff did everything they could, like digging through the storeroom to find us fans.
