Lovely Hotel

We where on Schenectady for a funeral which is never fun. The Hotel was the perfect place to rest our weary bones after a long-long drive.

Lovely hotel

Beds are comfortable, location is great, staff is friendly, rooms are very clean, breakfast has a delicious selection of food

Room size was good

We asked for more coffee pods.. they brought a coffee pot! The person at the desk barely spoke english.. was definitely a turn-off for us.

We will not return this place.

Location is great and there is a lovely river next to the hotel.

The room was not a good condition. A weird smell (pet/mold?)in the room, stained carpet and wall covering is peeling off. The house cleaner tried to get rid of smell but did not work.

Only plastic, disposable cutlery and crockery available for breakfast. This does not seem acceptable if we all aim at doing our best to save the planet

Very nice choices for each day’s breakfast. Good selection of drinks to buy in the lobby. Loved the Schenectady photos in the lobby. Outdoor seating was great! Parking lot very clean. The front desk, dining room staff and housekeepers were top shelf-friendly, helpful, a bunch of real assets to the hotel.

No cell service inside the hotel. I had to go outside to call my husband and siblings. Kitchen sink dripped constantly. I reported that. The bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy. I had a hard time finding a comfortable spot. I couldn’t find a tv channel guide.

We enjoyed the relaxation especially on Father’s Day.

Enjoyed eating and relaxing by the riverside.

Didn’t like the parking. The restaurant had better parking.

Breakfast was great. There were no waffles on the 1st day because there was no non-stick spray...;(

The shower. Either it was the shower head or the lack of water pressure - very difficult for me to get the shampoo out of my hair. And there was no sitting area for more than one person to eat in our room. There was no hot tub in the pool area.

Not a great experience; large dirty room and very expensive pricing, not very impressed.

The size of the room and the breakfast.

Very noisy, extremely loud guest next door trying to break into our adjoining door two nights in a row with constant swearing. The trash receptacles near the elevators were overflowing. The room and floors were dirty when we got there. It wasn't very clean for the amount of money I spent (I'm a struggling student who had to save for months and months for this stay). There were food remnants on the stove and on the corner of the countertop (I'm a Celiac and have a severe, severe reaction to gluten) and must've touched something and was sick during my stay. And then, someone decided to burn a microwave with burning popcorn during the stay and we were evacuated for a fire alarm.

Schnectday Manager Should be demoted!

Room Was decently clean. WAY overpriced!

Whatever Manager that was working at the Schnectday location on Sunday October 29th at 8 AM should NOT be working in the hospitality industry. Extremely rude and disrespectful for NO reason at all.
