Excellent location on a quiet street that is walkable to everything! The room was cozy and well decorated with a strong, hot shower. Everything was very clean and set up nicely.
The breakfast was not quite what I expected (mostly packaged pastries but they did have hard boiled eggs and yogurt plus an interesting-looking pancake machine).

This is an old and tired house/lodge/B&B. The rooms are large but not updated. Windows are very old and don't close. So our December stay got very cold at night. The very old window unit didn't work in warm mode. They did bring an electric oil Delonghi heater. Walls are paper thin as is the very unsecure door.
The shower is not small. What's a word for smaller than small. And the bathroom window was not sealed so it was freezing too.
But the location was great. This is our 2nd stay. We hoped that it was going to be better this time around. Sadly it was worse.
Summary - do not stay there

We loved everything about this place!

It was wonderful. Better than we expected
No fan in the bathrooms, no air exchange outside to inside, ex air. wooden bed frames larger than mattress so I constantly hit my shins…these are minor issues but suggestions

Nice neighboorhood.
Badly soundproofed - this in particular an annoyance if your room is right next to the lodge‘s entrance door.

Comfy front porch for morning coffee, location was excellent, nice and clean.
Didn't love the pillows.

Lovely garden and outdoor seating areas, location, comfortable room.
For the bathroom across the hall we had to lock and unlock our room door and bathroom door all the time -- don't think it can be helped, but it was a bit of a hassle.
Breakfast was just OK. It would have been nice to have a few whole-grain options and fresh pasteries from a bakery. The fresh fruit was very nice.

Everything really comfortable. Nice house, they make you fell like you live there. beautiful garden. Fruits, bagels, jam, coffee, hot cocoa and water for breakfast saved my days. Clean, nice beddings.

Location was close to everything

Loved the location. The lodge is located almost at the center of main street Coronado.
For a "Bed & Breakfast" the breakfast part was less than sub par. The lodge had what they called a breakfast nook with pastries and yogurts.

Everything about this place was excellent. I will definitely return.b
If I had to find anything negative, some guests were talking a little loud in the common room pretty early on Sunday morning.

This place is awesome, the staff is very helpful and great. The staff is what makes this place successful. Great location also.
Drunk loud people coming in.

Great location, close to the beach and the main strip

The location.
It was a little cold and dark inside.

I liked the cozy atmosphere. There are two areas to sit outside and a little living room inside. No kitchen can be used by guests. There were cookies and sometimes quite good cakes all day available. There was a little capsule espresso machine and enough capsules in my room and by the community room. The place is very clean and well-maintained. Cherokee lodge is centrally placed, close to the beach, restaurants, pubs, and the Hotel del Coronado in a safe area.
I had a huge room with two queen size beds, but my private bathroom was just across the hallway. Which was okay. Besides some fighter jets landing, it was very quiet.
A bathroom in the room would have been nice, but I did not book it and knew that my private bathroom would be at the floor.

Easy self-check-in which we had no problems with, also we parked right outside on the street for free, and very helpful staff who were on site from around 1000am to 1500pm
Amazing location 2 mins from High Street and only 5 mins walk from the Beach and the Hotel Del
Our Bed was comfortable and we liked the Victorian-style furniture, all in all, a great Inn which we look forward to returning to.

The quaint guesthouse, porch and garden, fresh baked goods and healthy items offered daily, and welcoming, friendly staff. We were delighted with our stay . The location was beyond what we expected.

We had room 2 downstairs at the back of the property which was very spacious with a sitting area as well and good size bedroom. Great location, only one block back from the main street, but very quiet location with a great selection of shops, bike hire, bars and restaurants and the hop on/off tram. We got a parking space right outside the property.
Felt like you were staying in someones home which was lovely, small lounge area, seating on front porch and at the back. Great to be able to borrow beach towels and chairs, although unfortunately not quite the weather for it when we were there
No staff on site after 3 pm until the following morning, there is a telephone contact service, not a big problem, but something to be aware of if this is important for you.
Help yourself breakfast area of yoghurts, cereal bars, muffins and bagels for everyone. Was fine for us, but as the sign stated, please only take your fair share, so could vary. Also it didn’t seem to bd replenished until after 9 and so not always much choice if heading out early

great location and looked beautiful both inside and out
could easily hear noise from other rooms and could hear the exhaust fan directly outside my room
