I didn't like to much of nothing there. Staff was very friendly but the room is what I was really disappointed with. Bathtub had hair still in it STAINED SHEETS WITH WHOLES IN THEM ETC.
MOSTLY EVERYTHING!

Location was good
Breakfast was abysmal. Bed was not comfy and air con was loud. Furnishings outdated. No USB ports

Love the ease of checking in
love the cleanliness
love the water pressure
love we could have double beds
the double bed. Boy both beds could be updated to be more "hotel" like and old, and uncomfortable
the continental breakfast was disappointing. I thought with a campus kitchen there would at least be decent coffee.

As others have said, the breakfast was limited, but everything else was just fine. - especially the staff!

Location was nice room was nice.
Customer service was horrible

Very clean
Not much breakfast. Hard to find

Nice setting, comfortable room.
Room needs refreshing. Furniture was nicked and damaged and there were a number of plaster repairs on walls/ceiling that hadn't been sanded/painted. Breakfast selections were just adequate and could be upgraded.

Location was great to enjoy on campus homecoming events. Facilities lady was very pleasant. Quiet hotel and able to relax and enjoy the weekend.
Room was a little dusty in certain areas. HVAC fan is really loud. Handle to fridge cabinet was broken. And found a few beatles in my room. There was also a huge cockroach outside my room. Going to school at UMES it wasn't uncommon to see but still prefer NOT to see them. Check in and check out took forever. When we checked in no one gave us the wifi information or where breakfast is held.

It was a good price.
After reading the reviews, I assumed it was right next to Salisbury. Wrong school! The mattresses were hard, like sleeping on the floor. The sheets felt and sounded like sand paper. Terrible night's sleep.
When looking for the building, even the campus police didn't know anything about it.

There wasn't much to like. We arrived late and had been called already to say that our reservation was going to be cancelled without a refund. When I called, the guy changed his tune and said, no problem, come on anyway. Unsettling on the day before the 4th of July.
We arrived late and settled in for the night, only to be woken up at 6 am with the power going off and fire alarms shrieking. We were on the third floor as that was their only handicap accessible room. My daughter has to use a wheelchair due to weakness in her legs. Everyone had to evacuate down three flights of stairs. There were no emergency lights. My granddaughter and I had to use the flashlights on our phones to light the way and also help my daughter struggle down the stairs. Some other folks were kind enough to bring her wheelchair down. They told us that this was the second day in a row that this had happened. No fire department or police showed up at all. We ended up dragging all of our luggage downstairs while my daughter waited outside. No breakfast, of course! Worst experience of my life. Couldn't contact a manager to inquire about a refund either.

Nothing at all. The place is nearly impossible to find and it’s basically some rooms in an education center at a college. So very misleading!!
If I could rate this property a ZERO, then I would. I got there at 3am. It took an hour to get me into a room that didn’t have LIFE SIZE COCKROACHES, or whatever those creatures with tentacles are they have living in this college dorm hotel. The beds are absolutely terrible! Nothing but springs and sit very low to the floor!! Once the guy at the front desk failed to kill the creature in my room with a fly swatter he finally put me in a different room after me asking 4 times! I finally got to lay down at 4:15am but couldn’t sleep from fear of things crawling all around me! I kept being told the hotel manager Sierra was going to reach out to me but she never did! I checked out at 10am and they still proceeded to charge me for the room after I asked for accommodations. I’m a travel nurse and had driven 24.5 hours to get there. I was dangerously exhausted at this point. Had I been able to drive another single mile or 2 I would have stayed ANYWHERE ELSE!! I truly feel like sleeping in my car would have been much more comfortable and safe!! Once I left, the girl the next morning came outside running to me to tell me my card had been declined! I was curious as to why! I called my Credit Union and they told me it was due to suspicious activity on my account since I had been traveling across the US and using my card. Within the 4 mins I was on the phone with my CU, they tried to charge my card 4 more times! I called and ask them to please stop and give me time to resolve this issues with my bank. They proceeded to charge my card 4 more times after telling me “sure no problem”, causing my whole bank account and every single penny of funds I had to be frozen and my debit card to be blocked and useless. I was livid and my Credit Union was mind blown!! So within a couple hours they tried to charge my card 9 times total, knowing what was going on! So now I’m 1,000 miles away from home.

The size of room, it was nice and clean.
The mattress was very springy and needs replacement. We left having backaches.

Location was awesome for why we were there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. we have stayed before and will stay again.
Bathroom was a bit untidy.

The room was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had to call to locate the building. It was clean, a little dated andthe beds were very comfort. The room was on campus which made it easy to attend the athletic events we were there for. Local restaurants were great but close early.
Unfortunately due to inclement weather we had to leave early because the campus shut down, but everyone was very accommodating. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.

Here was the situation: I had to cancel my plans to attend an art gallery opening in Crisfield because I was traveling with a person who was immune-suppressed. Since I felt a cold coming on, I decided not to travel by car the long distance from home in Centreville, MD to Princess Anne and spend the night at the Henson. After I looked at your website, it appeared nothing could be done about refunding my prepayment for the room. Imagine how surprised I was to receive a call from a young woman the afternoon of the event to check on my arrival. I explained the situation and she very kindly informed me that because it was before some cut-off time, my charge would be cancelled. It was a totally terrific business decision/policy and I will remember that the Henson is a very generous operation. On any occasion when I would have an opportunity to share my experience, the Henson will shine like a diamond! Many thanks.
I didn't stay at the Henson but their call to check with me was above and beyond.

Location was great, and so was the staff!!
My sink still had water in it (wasn’t draining) when I checked in. Went out with my nieces for a baseball game at 18:15, got back at 23:30, and it’s now 00:10 still no fix (I told them as we were leaving, there was a problem). The water’s a bit funky, but I guess for the value it could have been worse!

The staff at the counter were super friendly and informative. The location was perfect for the event on campus we were attending. We got great directions from the desk. The room was spacious and comfortable, great bed. Overall an excellent stay.
