Amazing House, amazing view, beautiful garden, lovely hosts, great location, delicious breakfast cooked to order. I would stay there everytime, while in the area. It is quiet, has a charming interieor, parkinspces and the spot at the skx road is uncomparable.

The B&B is in a great location and waking up with a sea view is priceless. The host is extremely welcoming and kind and serves a great breakfast.

The location right on the sky road and the view from the room are simply amazing! The host are really welcoming and offer you a very good breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property for a calming stay where you'll feel the wildness of the Connemara.
I would say that the bathroom would need a little improvement because it's not very modern, especially the shower head which is very tiny. But that's the only small negative aspect.

The property was amazing, well located for a tour of Connemara. We even met some friends there by chance!
The room was spotless and Lydie the host is super friendly. Definitely recommend going there!
The beds are a bit old and carved 😂

Beautiful views. Friendly host
En suite was too small. Larger persons would not fit in shower cubicle. Toilet was situated right beside the wall

The owner was very welcoming and very nice. There are little touches of passion and love for what she is doing in everything.Homemade jam and chocolate spread served at the breakfast. Breakfast presented nicely with freshly cut flowers from the garden.

Wonderful view, in front of the sea. Quiet area. Great welcome.

The location is wonderful, just as shown on all advertising. Views and local walks were delightful and it was very peaceful. Breakfast was very nice.
Very limited options for check-in, with a narrow timeframe as well as for breakfast. Whilst the owner will have other things to do, it doesn't give a very welcoming impression. The list of Do Nots is also a little intimidating, with NO noise allowed after 10pm, with headphones required when watching TV. Just a bit over the top.

The view of the lake from our room was spectacular.
The rooms were large.
Our hosts were welcoming.
Poor wifi

Excellent breakfast and very warm host.
The bed could have been bigger and more comfortable. The shower was very cramped.

The optimal location for visiting the Connemara region, the courtesy and kindness of the owner of the house and the breakfast
We booked just one night to visit the Connemara region. We enjoyed it. Courtesy and excellent breakfast

The view from the bedroom is spectacular. For the money we paid it was unbeatable and the owner was so lovely. Breakfast was great and the whole house was so clean. They really care for their property.

Extraordinary place, the most beautiful stay on our 1-week trip, owned by a lovely couple. Super nice room with complimentary water, coffee, tee. Great view on the sea.

Location is superb and house is easy to find
It is unusual to find a B&B in Ireland not able to provide brown bread at breakfast.

The owner Lydie was very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived till we left. Even recommended excellent oyster eating places by the bay. Good WiFi and free parking. Great breakfast and an excellent comfortable place to stay. Big spacious room and firm bed.
Thr basin taps were separate hot and cold..

Lydie is a phenomenal host, very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Location is superb - overlooking the lake, very quiet. Parking is plentiful. Breakfast was fantastic and accompanied by homemade jams and spreads (salted caramel is to die for).
It didn’t affect our stay but if there was anything to mention on the minus side is that wifi is not very good - but we were not there to browse internet.

The location is very relaxing and quiet.
Can’t connect to wifi as its always “weak security” everytime I logged in.

very cosy ambiance inside
best of all is the exzellent hospitality and the homemade delicious breakfast.

It was relatively close to Clifden and Kylemore Abbey, but very quiet and peaceful. Very nice view over the lake and the host was very friendly. There were homemade jams, cake and even chocolate spread for breakfast.
The bed wasn't too comfortable and comparing to the next place where we stayed which cost the same as this one, the accommodation wasn't as good. The room was smaller and there was no TV. I understand how it fits their concept of giving you a peaceful night of sleep or being together, but it was just a bit boring for the price... Breakfast was okay but I would have expected more from the pancakes, especially because I think the host is French. There were very strict rules like you were not allowed to eat in the room and my boyfriend didn't dare to eat even some breadsticks he had bought... so, you can't watch TV in the room because there is none (and also no common room or anywhere else where you can do anything) and you also can't eat crisps in the room... No kettle in the room either. There was a coffee machine, but to get tea, you had to go downstairs.
