The property is located on the Caribbean side of the island close to the airport. A small beach near the hotel is a bay and has very clean calm water
The property needs major updating and a complete replacement of all towels and bed sheets, which are so work out and used that they are absolutely awful. All sheets and towels are hung to dry outside and when cleaning service brings another set to the room during housekeeping, they are still dirty and wet.
Kitchen is stocked with ABSOLUTE MINIMUM in terms of plates and silverware: two tea spoons, two knives, a few plates and minimum glasses. Most drawers need re-paint and fixing, particularly rusted and broken trash can drawer. Floor needs better cleaning and definitely better cleaning between guests.
Our room had a leaky roof, so during heavy rain floor was all wet and needed towels to be placed under the leak
All green lounge chairs on the beach are awful, completely ripped and sunken from overuse. Umbrellas are old too. The service supposed to start at 9, but there is no one at the beach to put up umbrellas until 9:50am and they remove all chairs and umbrellas at 5 pm.
The restaurant runs out of some items on the menu, even during lunch hour.

The restaurant had decent food but no ventilation and the heat is stifling.
The place definitely needs renovation. The facilities are old, the linens dirty and the staff is unfriendly. The pool was filthy! So much we couldn’t use it as we were afraid of getting a skin disease from it. The pictures and the reality of the resort is vast. When I asked the manager about that ahead of time said that they enhance the pictures for the internet!!!!! The hotel is in front of the “strip” which is a glorified series of dinghy shacks that serve food. The place is loud from 7 pm till all hours in the morning.

Good location and friendly staff. Pool was nice and quiet. Comfy bed. Nice to have a kettle in the room. Second room we were moved to was better.
Rooms (especially bathrooms) were tired and in need of updating. Coffee sachets only provided for first night, not renewed so you need to take your own. First room we were allocated had not been cleaned properly and 'sea view' was not really there.

1. Location
2. Great beach with umbrellas and chairs, towels exchange
3. Large room with good kitchen and balcony, daily cleaning
4. Friendly staff
5. Convenient check out time (12pm)
1. WiFi was slow
2. No little convenience store on site (to buy water, sunscreen etc). Good thing we had a car and could drive to the store which is only 5 min drive.
3. Room is a little outdated with some MINOR issues - e.g. takes a few mins to get hot water in the shower, AC broke (but was fixed the same day!).

Reasonable choice for breakfast, service was a little slow, but on holiday in the Caribbean no rush. Lovely view from the restaurant over the bay.
Loved the bright Caribbean colours.
Hotel lovely, needs a little tlc in place, but did not effect our holiday.
Took a little while to work out the hot water, had a couple of cold shower, needed to let water run for a little bit.

Nice place next to beach with chances to meet local people. It is relaxing and old fashion. Staff are helpful.

Excellent location for an authentic experience. Lots of restaurants with fantastic food and great prices.
More toiletries in the bathroom. Only small bar soaps were provided but could have used shampoo and lotion as well.

Location handy to beach and several bars and restaurants

restaurant food just ok took 30 to 40 minutes to serve

Location and price. Rooms were ok.
Food took forever and wasn't the best. Saw bird sitting on plates, eating off of them, in the window waiting to be delivered.
Definitely eat elsewhere

Lovely staff in a nice location by the beach with lots of good options for food.

One bartender. We didn't get his name. A young, professional hospitality-trained guy from Dominica. Some other staff seemed to care about the problems but it was all talk or it's possible the management here is the problem. It is clear that owners are absent.
We had to check out and find another place to stay 3 nights into a 6 night booking due too many problems. Cockroaches, we had to ask for a plunger to flush the toilet, (the staff told us "that's the way those toilets are"), sow bugs crawling in and out of rotten wood holes, spiders then being banned from the pool by management for a satan-summoning and non-paying yoga group who require the pool to gobble screaming chants for 4-5 hours a night so paying guests can't go near the pool. It's the most bizarre, twisted place we've ever seen.

based right on the beach and well placed to walk to Atlantic side of frigate bay too
buildings look attractive
breakfasts were good
items such as electric sockets and fly screens were not in good repair
our balcony altho ocean facing hardly got any sun
nowhere to hang wet things

we just stayed here 1 night before our flight home and it was ideal location close to the airport, right next to the beach and east to walk to numerous beach bars, restaurants and supermarket. pleasant spacious bedroom and good value compared to other local hotel options.
there is a bit of construction going on in the hotel next to the beach restaurant and also construction on the hillside next to the adjoining marina - so the setting not quite as nice as it might have been in the past.

The person's staying above was being load so bearly get to sleep good the night and then in the morning they started again..

The room was extremely spacious with a lovely big balcony. The furnishings were a bit dated but that wasn’t a problem. A very well stocked kitchen we were able to do our own thing. We like sitting on the balcony looking at the Caribbean sea. The staff were very lovely and helpful. We thought this was good value for money compared with some of the more expensive offerings on the island
There was refurbishment going on so the pool and restaurant were closed though they did provide a free breakfast brought to our rooms as compensation.

The facility was well kept and the room was comfortable.
The breakfast I had in the morning leaves much to be desired. Though well prepared, for the price I paid, it was inadequate.

Good location. spacious accommodation. close to beach. lovely staff
The property was pretty tired, in need of a bit of updating. That didn’t really bother me that much but our room wasn’t very clean, there was dust on the furniture and the floor still had crumbs from the previous occupants. The windows were really dirty, the frames damp with black grime. one was so horrid I kept the the curtain closed all week. there was no kettle, just a coffee maker. Having said all this, we did speak to reception and the next morning a kettle arrived and our room was given a good clean, including the floor.
The only issue I did feel was unacceptable was building work going on right outside the back of the property. our bedroom window looked over a JCB digger the whole week. All day the JCB’s were digging out rock from the side of the hill and the noise was terrible. We didn’t sit by the pool at all due to the noise. Thankfully we hired a car and went off to other places during the day. Please do bear this in mind when booking, that work will be going on a long time.

Check-in agent was friendly and professional. He offered great service. Staff make sure I was comfortable.

beautiful beach and safe swimming close, also private pool. sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach in small numbers, not crowded. close to many great beach bars/restaurants.
major building work in the vicinity. will be fine when it’s finished.

Price is a good deal for the property being a little dated. Location was great. Music from strip only loud on Friday and Saturday nights
There was hot water only one day. The construction behind and up the hill was too long some days. 7:45 until almost 5 pm with the constant jack hammering was overwhelming
