Great location
Easy keypad entry to building and our room
A suite with a king bed and 3 singles
The family suite was in a finished basement and had a slightly musty smell. The pictures and description online didn’t indicate a basement suite. There were several doors in the room: some were locked and others weren’t. One door led to a giant space used as storage and another to mechanical equipment. The worst part was the sounds of water going through the pipes above my head when others showered or flushed the toilet. Not sure how often staff check on the carriage house, yet when we arrived, a large potted plant had fallen over and blocked part of the ramp to the door. It was still there when we left the next morning.
Last, I was surprised the only refrigerator was the small, square college-size fridge in the common room. For the size of the building there needs to be a fridge in the room.

Location was awesome! Beds were comfy
The room wasn't super clean, and there were lots of ants. We were disappointed to find that there were only 2, outdoor style chairs in a "suite" with 4 beds.....there wasn't anywhere for anyone to sit!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome from the proprietor, Eileen Norton. Everyone we met on the staff, from wait service, to kitchen help exuded the same outgoing, friendly manner. The service is outstanding. The ambiance warm and homey and the breakfast delicious!
Honestly, I cannot say anything fell short of our expectations.

Lovely old New England place with great staff.
Only thing was the WiFi was weak in room 4. Apart from that it was fantastic.
