No breakfast
It was the most disturbing as me dirty place I have ever been too. Blood splatters going up the wall to the ceiling, smelled of mold, plastic covering the stained mattress, old flat and completely stained pillows unders the pillow case, bed spread completely stained on the underside etc..

Very low price which is what I thought I wanted given I didn’t need to be there long. I expected it to be outdated but thought it would be at least clean. The people who ran the motel seemed to be very nice though. When I had enough and returned key it was late and no one was there to discuss situation.
Very dirty, and worst part was the air quality was poor. I had to shut off air conditioner because I couldn’t take it and open window and even then still had to leave. Musky strong odor that was giving me a bad headache. Was also a bit nervous to leave the window open anyway. I felt like I was staying at the Bates Motel. When I first got in there I was shocked. Linens were stained, including bath towel. Dust everywhere. I literally touched a cobweb turning on the light. And when I got to room all main doors to unoccupied rooms, including mine, were wide open, so naturally there was a couple mosquitoes in my room. Since it was so cheap I thought I could deal and maybe if I killed time going to movies and spending time outside of motel and just come back to sleep I could get through it. I just couldn’t. I left at 11 pm and found another place to stay.

Quiet. Relatively easy to find. Close to shopping center (Walmart, Big Y, Big Lots, etc.) Good price.
Only had coffee for first morning -- but packet was not strong enough for me. Need better lighting to see entrance. Motel sign is well lit but beyond driveway.

It was closed when I arrived at 8 pm, which I’d emailed the hotel that was when I expected to arrive. Got my money back but not recompense for the late night hassle.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet at night.
The bathroom was tiny and the door to the toilet area didn't close.

ground level units, plenty of parking , family owned & operated
was a cold night & drafty in room - March in northeast - there was a gap under door , could see daylight coming through along with cold air. no heater in bathroom - very cold.

The staff was helpful and friendly.
The room was very rundown. The door was hard to shut and had to fiddle with it for a few minutes to be sure it was locked. The moulding in the bathroom was black where the caulk had worn away. There was no hot water in the morning. I wound up not feeling very comfortable or safe.

It was affordable
The coffee makers cord wasn’t long enough to plug in; the creamers were hard as a rock like they’d gotten wet; the light over the sink wasn’t working; and the grout in the bathroom tub was worn away in spots and black with mold. The towels could have been larger.

very reasonable - dated but clean except shower curtain needed to be cleaned or changed out
bulb over bathroom sink didn’t come on until after several tries

Fluorescent lighting buzzed. Wifi didn't work. Bath caulking in need of repair. Vanity counter reinforced with tape. Unpleasant odor.

We hated it. It was extremely run down and appeared to be used as long term rental rooms for folks who can’t afford monthly rental rates for more than just a room. That is a fine situation if true, but no reason for the room to be so dirty and it smelled terrible. It was so old, everything. The phone was in a draw, no plug. The window was so dirty and webs growing in the corners. The bedding had to be 40 years old, pillows disgusting. The rug smelled so bad. The lighting was ancient. Don’t waste your money here.
We went to a wedding on a farm not far from motel and did no research on the hotel. As we drove to venue we were minutes away from big name inexpensive hotels and had no idea.
The check in person was lovely but as we opened the door of the room the smell was overwhelming. Big mistake on my part for no research done. We stayed one night but left at 5am because we couldn’t sleep.
We stopped to grab coffees and asked about the motel. It’s referred to as the “BATES” motel and people don’t ever stay there but live there. A big lesson learned. Do not stay here. Sorry to owners but please fix it up then maybe you have potential.

The wifi was nonexistent. I connected to the wifi on all my devices, but...no connection to the Internet, even after the clerk rebooted. I missed lots of work and a meeting because of this.

The beds were comfortable, with nice, firm mattresses.
The front desk staff was friendly.
There was no breakfast that we knew of, only a packet of instant coffee in our room.
All of the fixtures and building materials were shoddy and low quality. Towels were small, thin, and stiff. The soap broke into fragments as we took it out of the wrapper.
It was nice to have a refrigerator provided, but it was so noisy we had to unplug it in order to sleep.

Staff was helpful in allowing us to cancel second night after we found the premises unsatisfactory.
The room smelled strongly of mold and cigarette smoke. We had to leave after one night as it was impossible to stay there.
