Breakfast was ok. Selection was typical.
Whole facility needs updated. TVs were small. Tears in carpet. Bugs on ground. Coffee should be kurig type. Facility on outside was dirty and crumbling.
3.6
Check-in was super easy. The breakfast wasn't great, but we made it work. The room was clean and nice, just very basic. The kids were expecting a bit more Christmas decorations in the actual room :).
3.6
Lodge was good, mostly clean and quiet, but small bathroom and mediocre continental breakfast!
tv channels limited and breakfast was very cheap.
3.6
A decent location. Pretty clean
Had a breakfast on Sunday morning but the juice was just water with color in it and only 1 waffle maker or a muffin on Monday. No fruit or drinks
3.6
It’s a very nice, cozy place with year-round Christmas ambiance. We love the location and it’s proximity to Holiday World.
3.6
Close to Holiday World. Beds were comfy. It was nicely decorated.
Hot tub wasn’t working. Coffee was not good. Breakfast was below average. Not enough towels. Pool towel are too small.

Closest location to Holidayworld, of course!
Need toilet seat covers!!! And coolers/fridge in rooms!
3.6
Breakfast was bad…brick biscuit’s and overcooked sausage. Loved the location and the lake that was available for the kids to go fishing. Room was outdated but comfy.
3.6
The breakfast was sogood with different options.
I liked everything.cute
3.6
Room decor a little dated but room was clean
3.6
The Celebration Room was an excellent facility for our quilting retreat.
The guest rooms are so old and not comfortable. For $167/night, I would have expected a much more comfortable updated facility.
3.6
Theme is terrific and location is near all we wanted to do.
Needs lights parking lot and entrance.
Bannisters and wood porches walkways need resurfaced or replaced.
Free breakfast would be better less food better quality.
3.6
Lobby was nicely decorated and staff was nice
Most disgusting, filthy, unsanitary place to stay. Bathrooms and sink areas with base boards coming off of the wall with black behind it. Bathroom so small you could not get undressed to take a shower. Toilet seat was padded from the 70's and broken. Hot tub was cracked everywhere with brown all over the areas to sit. The chairs in the pool and hot tub area were black/brown. Should have been thrown in the garbage. Don't know how OSHA approves occupancy. Demanded our money back and went to stay at a different hotel.
3.6
Location and staff were great. Decent free breakfast and nice pool.
Rooms are a bit outdated and pricey. The Christmas theme was great but everything was so dated. Definitely needs a makeover.
3.6
Close to the park (Holiday world).
Lobby was decorated nicely.
price was high for quality of room, breakfast was horrible! Milk was spoiled for kids cereal, sausage Pattie’s were burnt, eggs tasted completely like water mash, biscuits for gravy were not even warmed throughly.
we had spiders in our room, found one on the bed (granted woods nearby),we also had grasshopper in room. Pest control should be at a higher expectation with the location of facility, (definitely the price could pay for more pest control).
TV was so snowy- very few Chanel’s came through to view a good quality program.
Fire alarm went off our 1st night there around midnight- no one followed up with as to why!
water pressure was an extreme fail in shower-
Out family or extended family have been advise to never stay there again for $300 plus you would think it would of been a better quality!!

The ONLY benefit of this hotel is the proximity to Holiday World. I would never recommend this.
In the past, I have stayed 30 minutes away in Jasper, Indiana and I would do that again if I chose to spend the night in this area.
Where do I begin? This hotel is in major need of renovation and deep cleaning. The lobby area, including the breakfast area (which was downstairs) was in major need of vacuuming at the least. Visible crumbs were on the floor. There was a musty odor as soon as I walked in the door and the front desk had a candle burning. Hazardous! A worker was not even present when we entered.
Our room was on the 2nd floor which required walking up a short flight of stairs. We were hit with immediate heat at the top of the stairs from an ice machine and vending machine.
The room was dingy and disgusting. Linens were patterned and looked like they had been in the hotel since the late 70s. The bathroom toilet seat was completely loose. The air conditioning stopped working and we made a call to the desk who arranged to switch us to a "nicer room," but the air did eventually kick back on. Basic toiletries were provided but no shampoo.
In the morning, we ventured downstairs to a breakfast buffet. No one was visibly attending the area. Cereal was inside of rubbermaid containers. Sausage was literally on the floor and no one was there to clean. We decided to check out immediately and not eat.
Upon checking out, the clerk did not ask how the stay was. I am sure she knew that would lead to a conversation she would not want to engage in.
Overall, this is a hotel situated just minutes from a family-oriented theme park so the location is great. However, the hotel completely lacked any customer service and is the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Theming this as "Santa's Lodge" should lend itself to family friendly activities/ideas. For example (if the owners happen to see this review), for this price-consider a make your own Christmas ornament session or a nighttime milk and cookies snack for kids.
I would be completely embarrassed and ashamed to be affiliated with this hotel.

Room was by pool. Hotel was close to Holiday World
There was multiple issues with what they said they have on web site and what they really had. No restaurant, no zip line, no paddle boats, no mini golf. The rooms where old and ran down. Over all the whole hotel needs updated. Very disappointing for the price changed. $402 dollars for 2 nights. Only good thing was it was supper close to Holiday World.

location
out dated. bedding needs to be updated.
3.6
Breakfast was very good!
Rooms are just boring - bedspreads looked dirty and very cheap. Need updated.
3.6
The location. That breakfast was offered.
Could not get water anywhere.
3.6
The room was clean and good sized and it was nice to have a hot breakfast each morning.
There was no refrigerator in the room.

I chose Santa’s Lodge to the proximity to Holiday World. I love the grounds and decor.
There was a roach in our rooms bathroom, the ice machine on the second floor is broken, purchased two packets of ibuprofen from front desk and discovered after both packs expired in 2020.
3.6
Close to holiday world. The Christmas themed lobby looked great. Friendly staff.
Breakfast wasn't very good. The hallways were dirty. Kind of expensive.

Love the close proximity to Holiday World!!
Would love to see the interior/exterior updated.
