The chalet is perfect for a familiy skiing holiday @ Alpe d'Huez, with a great view and good comfort at a very reasonable price, fairly close to the piste. We rented our skis and snowboards, walked to Sports 2000 every morning where we left our equipment overnight. From there it is easy to take a (short distance) free cable car to the piste. If you're not comfortable with an uphill walk on a snow-covered path in the morning, it works better to take the car, either to the shop or to the piste. For us, it worked perfectly. Theoretically you could ski down to the apartment, but then you would need to carry the skis uphill the next morning. Heating, shower, washing machine and dishwasher came handy.

This little chalet is situated just before Alpe d’Huez , which easily accessible by lift if you ski down from the end of the road (snow permitting). We liked being out of town and enjoy catering for ourselves in the evening so was perfect for us. We like having our own space and the kids enjoyed playing out at the end of the day in the snow. The house is super cute although a bit dated, however was warm and comfy and the beds were good. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony at the end of the day in the sun drinking a beer! Would def visit again. Thank you to the owner for his helpful communication.

As soon as we got there the scenery was beautiful and the Chalet was perfect a gorgeous setting, lots of walks around. Although a little old fashioned in places the important things were spot on, beautiful views, Dishwasher and washing machine and very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time and even the steep hill to the village that we went up a few times a day wasn't a challenge by the end of the week. We were also blessed with wonderful weather, and the boys managed to come away from the Megavalance bike ride without injury. Would definitely recommend and will return soon.

If you want a cottage at a perfect location, this is the place. The cottage is spacious and has everything you need. We were surprised to see the photo's do not do it justice, it was much nicer than we expected. We will definately come back.
Only feedback is that the communication with the owner is mostly in French. We did not have a pay a deposit, but left a pasport with the caretaker. Only default is the French don't use shower curtains and you can not hang the shower head ;) Other than that: you will definitely enjoy your stay.

"Super chalet for 4-6 people. A 7-10 min walk up to the centre. You could follow the slopes down to the bottom and start the skiing there if the hill gives you a tough start on the day. Lovely view from the balcony.

"Very clean, very nice reception, great surrounding, close to the village. In the beginning the TV did not work properly but all the rest was present: kitchen equipment, laundry machine, bath and shower, separate cupboard for skis,... Absolutely perfect, would book it again right away!"

"The chalet was wonderful, it was much larger than we thought which was a pleasant surprise. We wished we had a car though as getting up and down to the village/ ski lift was a bit of an uphill struggle with skis and kids. The buses were free which was a bonus but the timetable wasn't regular enough. Great place - we would go again but take a car."

"Quaint little chalet with beautiful views. Clean and tidy, with good facilities (although would be nice to have a full shower rather than just a mixer tap on the bath). Myself and a friend stayed for a week and felt it was just right and would also be perfect for two couples. There is a short cut up a reasonably steep slope to town, which takes 5-10 minutes, if you don't fancy walking the long way via the road."
